He said the Commission has undertaken to extend the free e-dividend registration till December 31, 2016, urging shareholders to take advantage of the opportunity to enroll for the e-dividend.

He lamented the poor response of shareholders to the initial e-dividend registration campaign noting that only 6,000 Nigerians have so far registered for e-dividend payment mandate launched by the SEC, the Central Bank of Nigeria and the Nigeria Inter-Bank Settlement System (NIBSS) in July 2015.

He stressed that the aim of the e-dividend system was to eradicate the difficulty encountered by retail investors in claiming their dividends.

7UP keeps touching new lows.
Now at 102naira.

I can't tell whether this is just a genuine repricing of the stock (like WAPCO) or the market is just feeling pessimistic about it

Perfect response sir grin. The misery of the market is when everyone wants to win at the same time. The joy of the market is "when we are placed in a world of unknown".

At the beginning of 2016 we strictly warned them to stay away from NSE and invest either in DOLLAR or AGRICULTURE them no gree.

Again we asked them to Sell in MAY and go away they called us pessimists.

Now they are gnashing teeth and learning the hard way. grin grin grin

While the obedient ones are enjoying the blissful Dollar ride smiley smiley smiley

For the patience ones that boarded the ELEPHANT @circa N3:30k we should the first significant rally after the September school fees paying period.

The market is re-pricing. Intrinsic value has dropped and the general recession makes it difficult to guess where the floor is.
