That because that is ur Nigeria cgpa..... what does that translate to in a US STANDARD. .that should be your first starting point to see what ur GPA is ..i think there are some free online conversion

Until u give or have the full info i am not sure how anybody can help you ...you have never stated what ur first degree is in or your intending masters so how can anyone guide u.

What if i recommend a random school and it doesnt have your intended degree then what d point.... also even in 3rd class there is high and low 3rd class so what u need is first to determine what is ur GPA is US Standard

Yes and No but it depend on the schools alloy are applying to because some schools can swap/switch SAT for Toefl.

There is no harm if you write both provided you have the cash to pay for the two.

The one your school specifies on the department website. you can ask your Grad Coord or department secretary. dont waste money on transcript evaluation if your school doesnt specify that you should evaluate. you will still have a lot to spend money on later. Just save that money now. I applied to 6 schools. sent my Nigerian transcript to all 6schools, didnt do any evaluation. so in summary it depends on your school

Guys please lets help Pelaiye2703 out. Have communicated with him via mail but he needs more clarification and more help. He has an HND degree with the above listed GPA and wants to find out if he can be accepted for a Masters degree with the HND degree. Can he be able to find schools that will accept HND and also accept that GPA? Please lets guide him. He is one of us.

Fizzile he could ask the graduate program directors of the programs he is interested in. If he has the cash, he can evaluate his transcript. He has a lot of time to do this, so he should start looking for schools and email the official of each school. The next step would depend on the responses he gets.

Can someone please recommend a cheap apartment in Johnson city, TN - very close to ETSU preferably . Have a friend who just landed but don't have a place to sleep. Thanks.
