TOTAL is like all other oil stocks, I can't keep my cash for a long time with them for NOW... Skye Scare Syndrom is affecting the banks.
With their huge oil and power sector loans gone bad, nobody is sure which ones are headed the way of Skye.
Golden opportunity though, to amass the ones you're sure will survive, and wait for the news of foreign investors invasion to hit the market.
Oando could be upbeat today, somewhat, my only reason being that fickle crude oil is looking up.

While people are running from skyebank, am still considering to buy more now @ N0.64. Meanwhile shorting copper is looking steady.

its not really a run away, its more like wait and see while money market rates are offering very attractive rates to ignore.
With such attractive rates , the down trend in equities is not likely to change in d near term (add the NPL risks etc)

As much ad I know, the only thing that stops any company from declaring dividends (if they so desire) is --ve retained earnings.
