@yemdogg and @thesoj I am down with the plan and ready to cosign. It's really unfair how we are treated.

@NonelikeGod, I responded to you na. Or did you have a question addressed to me that I haven't responded to?
Re: Travelling To Canada Part 10 by thesoj: 9:45pm On Aug 16, 2016
Good to hear that you also thought of this.

I should mention that even though masters and PhD applicants get their TRVs at a higher rate than PGDs, they still mostly experience the unjust waiting times. The letter to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs will primarily emphasize the unconscionably long waiting times, not who is denied and who is approved. If we make it about denial rates, then the complaint won't have much teeth given that it's Canada's prerogative to deny or approve. Will send you a PM so we can together come up with an outline of how to frame the letter.

@BlackXStar, will keep you posted too.

yemdogg:
Boss this is a positive development and i am quite motivated.

I think moniker @seunskills was able to obtain a note verbal from the Federal Ministry of Foreign Affairs some weeks back. Flowing from this I think he should be able to link us or provide us with channels or avenues to get in touch with the federal ministry of foreign affairs. (Baba seunskills am sorry for calling you out, it's not in my habit buh I strongly feel you can link us or give us meaningful info regarding how to get in touch with the ministry of foreign affairs)

Thesoj thank you for this. I personally have thought about it buh I was really doubtful if anyone would get on board with the idea. I was also mindful of the fact that most masters applicants and PhD applicants are fairly treated with respect attention to their application and timely response from CIC. It's just PGC/PGD applicants that are facing these challenges. So if we can reconcile that and we're able to get some peeps on board not just PGC/PGD applicants it will go along way to assist our cause.
Sincerely, yesterday I was tempted to write Canadian embassy and lodge a complaint with respect the unfair processing times faced by Nigerians.

Michv, lawmerchant where art thou?

They got back to at noon today.
Started sending reminders last Thursday, sent another in Sunday , then sent 3 times yesterday because I kept forgetting to attach a copy of my visa page.

I think it's necessary. Especially to make your application airtight.

Judging from your post, I'd go ahead and assume that you started working after school. You have to explain to the VO what you have been doing till now. What's your present activity. Providing your employment details goes further to prove your home tie and to avoid delay arising from employment situation. So it's very germane.
You have to provide or fill something in the present activity segment of your study permit application and such claim(s) must be backed up or supported by documents.

Thank you yemdogg. can I pm u pls?

EWOOO!!!! CIC DOESNT WANT TO SEND ME MY PORT OF ENTRY LETTER O (P.O.E) AND I HAVE COLLECTED MY VISA SINCE 4TH OF AUGUST....
EPPPPP!!!

In your cic account, check the last update where you got the approval update. Tap that row and it will open up a correspondence letter.
That letter should be it. Mine came with the update. But you have to open the row before you see the attached letter.
