There seem to be many questions on this board regarding the bible, God, lifestyle, science etc, answers have also been offered. However, you might get a reasonable answer to your questions if you try and see how Jehovah's Witnesses proffer solution to those questions.

Of course, reading from our websites, can assist you with an authoritative answer from the field of JWs. (ie, www.jw.org; tv.jw.org; wol.jw.org). Jehovah's witnesses also have an application which can help someone read different versions of the bible like KJV, Bryington, ASV etc. You can also download our journals in ur own language inside this app and watch some videos. Go to play store and search for JWLibrary app.

The witnesses in ur vicinity can also assist in answering your questions. You can also send me an email for a quiet discussion devoid of distractions common in Nairaland.

But you can post ur questions here too, let's see how we can handle it, but please be civil and open minded. I won't respond to apostates or apostate sites or those I view to be unserious. I might end it if one is insincere.

I do not have answers to every question. Others like Biblespeaks, dolphinheart, truthislight can contribute also.

1) Why do you prefer to allow people to die rather than give blood transplant? I know its an obscure bible verse you guys use to defend it but is it worth it?

2) Why do you ostracize ex-members and non-members? People leave anglican, catholic and pentecostal churches and still remain friends with their friends or family they left in their ex-churches.

3) Do you realise that you behave like a cult as a result of question 2 above? That people hate you?

4) Why do you people act as if you are the only true church of christ? Your church is neither the oldest or largest in the world. Your church is far from the most transparent or most charitable.

5) Why are your members soo robotic and wicked? They don't do birthdays, christmas, new year and they become so robotic. Is your indoctrination that bad?

Excuse me sir I have questions.

1. After the awful destruction at Armageddon, how is the 'new world order' going to come?

2. If it was the LIFE FORCE of preexistence Jesus is Jehovah sent into Mary, where is the body the life force was removed?

3. The Bible says God sent His Son, does the life force self-conscious and embodied the whole Son of God?

Lemme drop pen here first.

Note: Go straight to answer don't perambulate!

1) Why do you prefer to allow people to die rather than give blood transplant? I know its an obscure bible verse you guys use to defend it but is it worth it?

Because Gods law forbid the taken of another's blood to sustain life as you already know. Yes, its worth is cos any life lost on account of following bible principle would be rewarded. Matt 16:25

For whoever wants to save his life will lose it, but whoever loses his life for my sake will find it

2) Why do you ostracize ex-members and non-members? People leave anglican, catholic and pentecostal churches and still remain friends with their friends or family they left in their ex-churches.

We follow the scriptures in what we do, a principle understood by all members of Jehovah's witnesses. Jehovah do not want unrepentant persons to continue among true Christians. 1cor 5:11. As such, it was the person, who refuses to repent that ostracised himself and chose to remain so by his conduct.

For example: if you belong to party A, that has a constitution outlining what is not allowed among members, and what can end your membership. If you unrepentantly go and break that party's rules, are you not the one to blame?

Those who are not non witnesses cannot be ostracized. We invite them to be one of us.

3) Do you realise that you behave like a cult as a result of question 2 above? That people hate you?

What people say in this situation does not matter but what Jehovah says. We are dedicated to do His will, not that of people around us. Jehovah does not want such people among His people, he made the vow to remain in Jahs laws previously. However, if the individual changes his ways, he is free to come back. The ball is always in his court!

Secondly, hatred when you are doing the right thing is quite acceptable. John 17:14; 15:18, 19.

4) Why do you people act as if you are the only true church of christ? Your church is neither the oldest or largest in the world. Your church is far from the most transparent or most charitable.

Numerical strength is not the determinant of a true church of Christ. Rather Jesus says that true followers of Christ is identified by love(john 13:34,35), doing Gods will (matt 7:21), preaching the Goodnews (matt 28:19,20), being no part of the world (john 17:14)
Etc. As a witness, I believe we have these credentials.

I don't understand how you knew we are not transparent, what we do is outlined in the scriptures which you can lay your hand on, I wonder what is more transparent than that.

The true Christians has always been available from the first century till date. That's a long history.

5) Why are your members soo robotic and wicked? They don't do birthdays, christmas, new year and they become so robotic. Is your indoctrination that bad?

Am still trying to figure out what you mean by being robotic, if following Bible principles is robotic to you, we are not bothered.

There is nothing in the scriptures to support christmas , birthdays and new year celebrations. These things are known to be a pagan customs. Now is that robotic?

You answered my questions in a typical Jehovah's witness way.

I wouldn't bother you too much, seeing that you are truly indoctrinated. You can't even see why I say that your church members are wicked. How can you look at someone dying and refuse him blood? Are you people the only christians that read the bible? Do you even know that your Jehovah's witness new translation bible is still a translation of a catholic bible?

90% of your culture is pagan. In fact, everyone in the world has pagan roots. To suggest that christmas is pagan is kind of hypocritical, considering that your Nigerian name, food, dressing comes from pagan origin.

You do realise that pagan relgions existed before Christianity?

No one sees someone dying and refuse him blood, rather the one dying has vowed not to violate Gods law even if it means death. They have a reward for doing so.

Not everyone that reads the bible will live by it. Obviously the ones shouting at Jesus at matt 7:22 also read the bible, but refuse to live by it.

I never knew it was a translation of a catholic bible. Tell me.

Granted, there are things we do with others that may have a pagan origin, but it certainly does not retain its religious significance. That would have made it wrong.

Very funny now it's only someone in the spiritual realm that can answer whereas you can answer what Jehovah transferred.

However, God does not necessarily need to take anything from Jesus to transmit to Mary's ovum.

But you organization teaches that Jesus' lives in heaven before He was transferred into the womb of Mary which some of you always say it's the LIFE FORCE. So my question still remains the same.

The body where the LIFE FORCE was removed what happened to it?

No.

So how come Jehovah called a lifeless/unconscious FORCE His Son?

To mirror your argument, birthdays and new year have no religious significance.

Also here is something you need to learn about your bible'

New World Translation Textual basis-

The master text used for translating the Old Testament into English was Kittel's Biblia Hebraica. The Hebrew texts, Biblia Hebraica Stuttgartensia and Biblia Hebraica Quinta, were used for preparing the latest version of this translation. Other works consulted in preparing the translation include Aramaic Targums, the Dead Sea Scrolls, the Samaritan Torah, the Greek Septuagint, the Latin Vulgate, the Masoretic Text, the Cairo Codex, the Aleppo Codex, Christian David Ginsburg's Hebrew Text, and the Leningrad Codex.

The Vulgate (/ˈvʌlɡeɪt, -ɡɪt/) is a late fourth-century Latin translation of the Bible that became, during the 16th century, the Catholic Church's officially promulgated Latin version of the Bible.

Those are celebrations from pagans, even the symbols used in Christmas are mostly pagan. The birthday done in the bible were not done by Christians and no christian was recorded as doing it into the first century. Jesus didn't do it neither did his disciples although it was done by pagans in their day.

You said that the New World Translation is a translation of a Catholic bible. Nothing above proved that assertion.

That it was consulted does not mean that it is a translation of the Vulgate. Other versions were still consulted, does that make it a translation of those too?

Personally I think JW's are to be commended. Of all the Christian denominations they alone it seems aspire to the life of Christ in their private and daily lives. The rest it seems are empty chest beaters and noise maker's more concerned with style over substance. I still believe some of your doctrines are somewhat misguided however.

So my question sir, Is it still JW doctrine that you do not worship with the symbol of the cross? Do you still maintain that Jesus was impaled on a stave (stavros in the Greek rendering of your reasonings book) as opposed to being crucified?

What JWs will go thru before the world become paradise. Your question is unclear.

We are not perfect, we get sick and die, is that all you get from Christ's sacrifice? One of the things the ransom offer now is forgiveness of sin. That's not all it is meant for.

I didn't say it didn't remain, only that you will need someone out there to answer it.

Jehovah does not need to take something from Jesus to input into the ovum of Mary. You seem to think that life force is a tangible thing that God took from spirit Jesus and imputed into the womb of Mary. This is not necessarily the case.

Jehovah can input a life force into her ovum which will produce a perfect person. The step by step method Jah used in doing this cannot be detailed by any person.

So how come Jehovah called a lifeless/unconscious FORCE His Son?

Reference pls.

You asked wether Jesus is God(I know you mean Almighty God). He isn't, but he can be called a god (whether capitalised in obedience to grammatical rules doesn't change anything). The word "God" (Elohim/Theo's) is titular and can be applied to either Jesus or faithful persons. Compare Psalm 8:5; 82:6

As such, Jesus is there called mighty God, not Almighty God.

He is an eternal father in that his sacrifice is going to offer humans eternal life in place of what our first parents lost.

Yes, we believe that the instrument of his execution is a stake (stauros), as opposed to cross. We however, emphasize the futility of long debate on a mere instrument of execution, the result of his death is more important than the instrument.

And we assert that such instrument should not be used as an aid to worship nor should it be worshipped. Neither is it an indisputable symbol of Christianity.
