If Parents of today still encourage their kids to engage in prostitution as to them all money na money (according to my edo or warri brethren) or those who encourage their kids to move drugs or engage in 419 (according to my owerri and other eastern brethren) or those whose children openly engage in oil bunkering and vandalism (my niger delta peeps) or engage in ritualism and cultism (my south westerners) how then can change be truly change?

This is a credible and praiseworthy move by PMB as we all must work together in order to achieve the Nigerian dream and paradise we seek. True change is never easy and never comfortable to those who have been used to moving in an opposite direction but its high time we began to preach INTEGRITY! LOYALTY! HONESTY! and not see actions like people returning lost but found money or reporting criminals or correcting a wrong doer as stupidity...which is what we have today....This is why abroad even your neighbour can call the cops on you if they suspect fowl play from you as we all need to be accountable to one another first and this echoes the very quote of JOHN F KENNEDY, "ASK NOT WHAT YOUR COUNTRY CAN DO FOR YOU BUT WHAT YOU CAN DO FOR YOUR COUNTRY!"

From the gang filled days to the nigga years to the years of apartheid to the emergence of Abraham Lincoln who in attempt to make a drastic change got killed ...same with martin luther king and same with John F kennedy. Their deaths drove their ideals and beliefs into the hearts of a lot of americans and laws where changed and attitudes were changed and today they have a nation that people are encouraged to build homes that do not wall themselves off from their neighbour.

Buharis gesture is sound and focused and is the right step in the right direction. A lot of the level of rot we have found ourselves in as a nation and all the negative press we receive outside Nigeria has mostly been caused by people like you and i. Why do you think that for some reason if a corrupt Nigerian stays in the united states for a few years he somehow learns how to behave and think right? Their system has been tailored towards a mental correction and if you refuse then you do the time.

We need to start somewhere as a nation and sustain it. I would not want to assume that you are morally bankrupt hence your kicking against this gesture from PMB. If you have the opportunity of running the affairs of Nigeria and do it better than PMB is currently doing then you can judge him but as for me i am totally satisfied with all he has been doing so far an i am even as easterner.

Your attitude and approach is proof that you so need an inward and ideological change. Caliber has nothing to do with Morality or a desire to refrain from doing wrong because statistically those who have tend to desire to have more while those who do not have tend to desire contentment.

The message is a simple one and not too tasking...Change yourself for yourself positively!
