He is a retd. "General" in the Nigerian Army.. That alone supervene upon others.

Just like IBB, Idiagbon, Kaduna Nzeogwu and co.. They attend war colleges abroad
How about finding out if he was qualified to be an army General? You see what I hate about hypocrisy? You have been an emergency anti-corruption crusader on this thread yet you are now trying to wish away forgery SMH

You made lots of valid points that cant be disputed. But letting her walk away with over $30million will also send a very wrong signal that there are sacred cows in the fight against corruption. If she can forfeit all what she stole, then the government can enter into an arrangement where she will get clemency for her cooperation. What i will never support is allowing her go away with the loot like she's demanding. And again, she is already in court to get a de-freezing order against EFCC, such effrontery only breeds impunity. How can she be so bold as to approach the court to allow her enjoy the proceeds of her crime? We should not set a bad precedent no matter the situation.
Remember the peace pact GEJ and PMB signed before the elections monitored by ex head of state Abdusalam Abubakar. I think GEJ always run to Abubakar anytime yawa wan gas as per his loots to seek cover. This is what GEJ will keep holding to, reason anyone who worked with GEJ caught stealing will always say they were instructed by GEJ to do so to run under that cover of the peace pact. e.g. dasuki, NOI, even metuh and ffk.

Very shameless but that's the mess we are in. I think the fact that most of them are owning up is enough disgrace and PMB is achieving that as it would also be a campaign tool against PDP in 2019 as we cannot go back to the thieving party being the helm of affairs again. Never

An ex military head of state.. Who had d country and d army under his command, presided over d supreme military council for years and still retains his title as General. Why haven't they stripped him of honours yet? cos even ur GEJ honoured him if I'm right

He has to protect d Northern interests first.. It is how Nigeria is.
Just like GEJ empowered criminals from his region to be securing pipelines amongst others..

So what am I missing here?

The Companies have owned up to the fact they were committing a crime?and a supposed "untouchable " like Patience Jonathan has come out to lay claim to this said money?

This woman keeps insulting Nigerians, and most importantly keeps taking our knack for civility for granted.

The Ivory Coast former First Lady was stripped and beaten to a pulp, and she did not even do a Quarter of the things, this embarrassment for a wife called Patience Jonathan is doing.

To the President. I know it is an Unwritten rule not to go after a former First family in most Countries in the World,Nigeria inclusive.

But there has never been a former first family that flaunt their stolen wealth,in a brazen fashion like the Jonathan's. Especially now that Nigerians are suffering and the cause can be traced to them and their Armies of Kleptomaniac's.

Abdusallam,Shonekan,Obasanjo,Babangida are all Former Heads of State, who have tried as much as much as possible to not let Nigerians remember how much they stole.

But in this Case,it is even the former Presidents wife that is rubbing it on our faces, that yes we stole so what?

This woman should be arrested, tried, sentenced and be locked up.
The woman is really taking Nigerians for granted but then, it may just be that her illiteracy has overtaken her mental faculty and she is just acting out of ignorance.

But one bird told me that she may just be the "Achilles heel" that would eventually put Jonathan in the cooler, in a manner that even his "Na our Brother crew" will give a standing ovation.

But it is okay to allow Buhari walk away with forged WAEC certificate? You think you have recession now? Just sit and watch if Buhari is stupid enough to go after GEJ or his wife then you will understand what recession really means. When the crude oil production falls below 500,000bpd and the exchange rate become N1000/$ then you will really understand the meaning of recession.

You people openly boasted about Buhari's forged WAEC result saying "even if he presents nepa bill we will still vote for him"and today you want to preach morality? are you for real? huh huh huh
Don't be annoyed if l call you an idiot. When the above happens, who do you think would come out worse: Buhari or miserable you?

Mr man I just hate hypocrisy!!! Anyone who thinks they will be peace in this country when Buhari is allowed to get away with his forgery,IBB,Tinubu,OBJ,Buhari,Atiku etc are allowed to get away with their loot and only GEJ is prosecuted is dreaming. The fact is such an action will trigger an explosion in his niger-delta region which provides the bulk of the nation's revenue.
What you don't understand is as far as you are willing to protect Jonathan's loot, the IBB, OBJ, Buhari, Atiku loot will remain looted for ever and will be peacefully inherited by their children.

You seem not to appreciate the arms deal loot under investigation directly led to the death of over 20,000 Nigerians from North and South, Christians and Muslims, including soldiers

My bro same thing I have been asking myself. When will the anti-corruption agency charge the woman to court and other corrupt people in their custody? Is she above the law or what? I'm so tired of the entire anti-corruption fight tbh.
The accounts are not in her name, she is just making claims to the money and is the one suing EFCC. Get the facts straight. EFCC will met her in court, but for now, they have no business with her.

Not withstanding the above, HARD EVIDENCE abound that she is the "beneficiary" of this malfeasance as she is the one who has been using the FOUR PLATINUM CARDS attached to the accounts, to buy things abroad.

This and the corroborating evidence of the accused who have pleaded guilty
(they will now be state witness) is enough to send Mama Pieces to jail............ If we were not saddled with a very corrupt Judiciary with criminals sitting on the bench all over the place!

She is just doing the usual Gra-Gra that is normally expected from her type.
Even Jonathan seems to see the hand-writing on the wall hence his "quick and unending pilgrimage" to Abdusallami, IBB and other Ex-presidents

Let's be patient, "the wheel of Justice grinds slowly but surely"

It can be quite funny when some people latch on falsehood in defence of corruption. grin Never knew that we have human beings still talking about Buhari's certificate. At least he hadn't been elected when the certificate palaver was raised and the then ruling party had all it takes to prove that he had forged it. Let me tell you, if for any reason ones certificate is missing and he can lay hand on the statement, it is still as valid as the certificate itself as long as there is sufficient evidence that it got missing. The only thing left for the prospective employer is to verify such claim with the relevant information on the statement. Didn't Buhari provide the necessary information required for such verification even b4 election? He went on air to announce it to the public and PDP must have done the necessary findings. Since then, who has heard the enlightened critics saying anything about it? U don't have to be a legal practitioner to know this cos it is just about common sense which, unfortunately, is no longer common. grin

Let's get real bruv, Patience and his wife GEJ would never be charged to court, we are not matured as a nation for that now sentiments upon sentiments will never allow that to happen.

There is also the sentiment that in order not to encourage african presidents to perpetuate themselves in power, its better when they quit office, we allow them go with their loot. its so sad but that's the truth. If just an invitation to Tompolo to come to court and defend himself has made the whole Niger delta go mad then imagine what will happen if madam pieces is in court. I think the disgrace that she came out to say its her money is enough.

We are not even a developing nation, we are under-developed which is even an understatement
