I am glad that she has finally admitted that she wants a relationship and to settle down. Young girls were misinterpreting her quieteness about her private life to lack of interest, contentment and happiness.

Update- I am not in any way dissing Linda. I am a big fan of her success story and all she had to give up to get where she is. The reason I put up this post is because I admire her honesty. We have so many hypocrites in Nigeria.

It is because of the kind of site Nairaland is - a forum. While linda Ikeji's site is a blog.

Post that mentions gematsu.com blog always appear on gamefaqs frontpage. Meanwhile posts that mention gamefaqs.com has never appeared on gematsu.com before. This is because while gamefaqs is a forum, gematsu.com is a blog.
Just an example from sites I use.

Sometimes they post opinions, I remember Barcanista boasting multiple times his opinions were posted even on TV news stations. I've read a Nigerian blog where the author is very vocal to show her disdain for nairaland yet posts opinion points from here time and time again.

Yes indeed, unlike most other top forums in the world, Nairaland is also recognized by google and others as a content site(a site that generates unique and quality contents). And they are also respected for the fact that the mods and members don't tolerate plagiarism.
