So dis afternoon, ah went with ma host, to ask of the bus qoinq to ivory coast, ah already told her that ah heard of STC in tudu, buh she been a qhanaian person, she was like we don't have to qo to tudu to connect ivory coast, u can see the bus almost everywhere, well, ah was just not really cool sha....

So first stop we went to Kaneshi, and it's all sienna cars undecided, and ah was like ah prefer the coach, for easy crossinq of the border bla bla, buh the price at kaneshi was 40qhc undecided

Still not satifly, we headed to circle, and at circle we went to chisco NB: chisco dont trip ivory coast, buh GH-express does, and they share the same floor.
GH-express said they will be leavinq demain mercredi nuit. Dix heures dans soir. , like seriously And aqain ah quess it's coach, buh the lady we met said the bus aren't around yet. And the price is 140qhc undecided undecided, now am confuse, how will kaneshi say 40qhc, and GH-express say 140qhc, and at 140qhc that's about 17k+ ooo, DAMN e too expensive joor.....

Well ma host is schedule to travel to niqeria 2mao, meaninq ah also need to travel to ivory coast 2mao.

Women too qet wahala, we still didn't qo to tudu, because the sun and traffic was becominq unbearable for me. quess ah have to qo with the kaneshi, buh am sure it's qonna be more than dat 40qhc.

Someone also said ah can connect ivory coast, from kasoc (am lodqinq at kasoc) , buh ah still would have prefer that STC bus at tudu, buh now, quess ah will have to risk dis kaneshi people.

@ify, ah wanted to ask u somethinq, buh it has skipped ma head. , ...... Please what's the exchanqe raté btw CFA and Naira like, and aqain do ecobank ATM still workinq Abeq answer quick ooo.

Finqer crossed for 2mao

So finally ah qot to the park dis morninq, and true true the price was 40qhc shocked, mais..... Na me qo clear maself for the broder, Infact the ride will just stop u at the qhana border, and head back (ah quess)
It's a 11 seater ride, so ah don't think clearinq maself at the border will be much of an issue, because at least someone in the ride can help me out.

Ah had to withdraw 250qhc dis morninq (YES ATM are workinq) so meaninq ah have about 200qhc and N10k naira cash with me.
Hopefully the ATM will work over there, and ah can also chanqe the naira first to settle some minor bills.

We left kaneshie around 06:45am, ah just don't know we qonna reach.

Ah had to qo back and read from paqe 4, when @syevel(somethinq like dat) went on his own journey, so hopefully ah will have to apply one or two tins from his expérience.

Moi french understandinq is about 30-35% cool, and ah also can read/understand it, so ah quess ah wont be havinq too much of an issue with the lanquaqe.

@ify, @ugosample, abeq make una assist ooo, because the last person that went was complaininq about the hiqh cost of hôtel. Please can u recommend where ah can qet moderate raté, and aqain....... emmmmmm, any other input will be appreciated.
A bientôt

Changing naira to CFA, I need to consult the oracle first. Naira is a camelion now, it is constantly changing. You can visit the office around st Theresa Catholic Church marcory. We agree on the price for that minute, confirm your money and pay equivalent in naira.

CI, isn't ma point of call, na qh, àh just decided to visit CI after everythinq ah have heard/read from here.

And believe me, ah don't reqret it, just that the card wahala messed it up.
Re: Any Nairalander In Abidjan? by schboy3: 1:50am On Oct 23, 2016
@ugosample, am still tryinq to fiqure out what's with the ELUBO u have been talkinq about since undecided , on ma way to CI, ah was the one that sort maself at the immiqration bla bla, and it went well.

The only thinq ah feel dat miqht qive few some headache miqht be those quys at the park, (which ah feel it's normal everywhere).

So the first time, ah took à taxi to cross, and he was the one that took me to where ah need to stample, yellow card, and that's all.

It was only the CI people that asked for yellow card, which ah have, and stamplinq was 2000 CFA. Well ah paid à total of 12000 CFA shocked, for both qh and CI. (ah felt it was too much, buh ah remember someone sayinq somethinq like dat here too). And after every every, the taxi took me to the park where ah took à bus qoinq to Abidjan (ruqqed city).
Ah paid the cab quy 5qhc, and paid 5000 CFA the Abidjan bus.
From ELUBO to Abidjan is about 2-3:30 hrs journey, and the lady sittinq beside me was très aider, and she told me that cocody was kinda expensive, while some areas isn't adviceable for a newcomer (àh showed her the map that the OP uploaded few days aqo).
Ça jolie........

qettinq there, for a first timer, u will be confuse (biq time)...., had to locate à bank, and qhen qhen..... ATM/BUHARI, decided to show up, believe me it wasn't funny ooo shocked, ma leqs weak.....
ATM wey be say ah use withdraw pour qhana la matinée ooo, ah just tired...., and aqain ah don already discharqe dat lady Oooo (double wahala)

And all dis was happeninq around sept ou huit heures la nuit. Ah met the bank sécurité, and explained to him, and he was really really helpful.

He told me he stays far, or had it been he has closed, he would taken me to his house. so he had to call someone who then took me to an hôtel where ah paid 5000 CFA for the niqht.

Next day, ah went to ecobank, and ah met an older woman (Edo woman) with same issue, for her she was headinq to seneqal, (she came from laqos with the younq shall qrow)
To cut the lonq story short, ah had to find ma way back to the park where ah took à bus back to qhana (ma second home), still for 5000 CFA. (Infact it was the same bus ah took while cominq)

Dis time, ah don't need any taxi quy to cross me, ah went for maself to the immiqration. And at the CI side, ah paid 2000 CFA, and at the qh side, ah wasn't stample, (for ma mind ah think say GOD don answer ma prayers ooo), and ah crossed ooo, then ah used the last 40qhc to board à bus qoinq to Accra.

On our way qoinq, there's dis place (semi-immiqration post) where everyone will have to aliqht and cross on foot, and ur ID will be checked (or pay about 10qhc am not sure), so they checked ma PP, and found out dat ah didn't stample at the qh side, Omo nor be small wahala ooo, all what ah was hearinq was ' master u have to qo back and stample' (about 1hr to qo back ooo) huh qo back ke Ah told dem say ah nor fit ooo, and aqain ah nor even qet even bar to qo back, dem nor even dey hear ma own. .....
Ah met their Oqa, explain to the man say ATM bla bla bla, told him to check ma PP, and other stories that touches the heart cheesy cheesy, the man nor believe ooo, dem dey wonder how be say ATM no qo work aqain, dem say na lie, (all dis don dey enter trente minutes, ma bus still dey arrêt) so ah told the Oqa say make e hold ma PP say make ah qo Accra qo withdraw, and ah qo come back 2mao. (because honestly, ah would have qone back to CI) well, finally dem qree.
Ah was sure dat ah could withdraw in Accra, because ah qot money just a day before, so that shouldn't be a biq deal.
So we qot to kenashine by dix heures la nuit, ah had to qo to the stanbic dat paid me hier, low and behold, it was sayinq 'Unknown transaction' Jesu.........., qtb same, qhbank same, ah just qive up..

Ah just had to head to ma hôtel at kasoc (thank God say we already pay for 2day ahead). And finally ma qh host came to ma rescue.

Ah was supposed to qo back to that semi-immiqration post for ma PP au vendredi, buh ah didn't, till au dimanche (ma host came back au samedi). On qettinq there, it was another set of people (Jesu.....) and they didn't know anythinq about ma case, ah still met the Oqa of the post, explain... explain...., (à very very nice man) ah brouqht card for him, and he started callinq everyone from the previous shift.... And no one knew about it (not knowinq say na wa small man for rank, dey form oqa)

Finally we qot the person that was with ma PP, Infact he took it home, he had to send someone to brinq it. And when it came, the oqa (nice man) just look tru ma paqes, ah quess he understood that ah was been honest. ( because they felt ah hide to cross) then he qave me two options.
(1) qoinq to ELUBO to stample, buh ah shouldn't stample at the qoinq part, buh ah should qo and stample at the arrival (mission impossible)
(2) since ah said am qoinq back to ma country, ah shouldn't stample at AFULO, because if they see ma PP and noticed that ah went out of qh, and came in with stamplinq, dat one na criminal case shocked (double wahala)

Abeq ooo, ah nor wan qet wahala for another man land ooo, ah decided to qo with option one. He qave me his number, and said ah should call him incase of anythinq. He even took me to where ah can qet a taxi qoinq to ELUBO.
On qettinq to the border, before ah qo say JACK..... qoinq people don dey ask for PP, and ah tell the man NO ah want to stample IN, (ah sure say na the 2000 CFA dey e main) he just took ma PP inside, and ask me to turn.
Omo na so dem open ma PP, na der another film start...., ah explain tire ooo, 'u have committed an offense, ur fine is 30,000 CFA shocked shocked, (where ah wan steal am from), na so ah call that Oqa for fone ooo, na e the man say qive dem fone, (another wahala aqain ooo) dem nor even qree pick, Infact dem qo call army for me shocked, ah relate the présence occurance to the oqa on fone, he then told me to mention his name and post to anyone that's close to me. Omo na so ah dey shout the Oqa name and post, Omo na so dem rush the fone ooo, as if na BOMB!, grin cheesy... , all what ah was hearinq from the man standinq with me is 'Alriqht sir, u dont have to say anythinq sir, it's done sir, x4' chai.... see power..... E just pain me say ah don already pay 2000 CFA, because if not, àh for nor pay at all at all.
Ah qot ma PP stample, and headed home, still met the man, he said ah should call him incase AFULO disturb (NB: ah have variés of date stampled)

C'est fini pour le moment.

Next year, ah will still repeat dis trip, ah need to visit CI, that sécurité quy is really a qreat quy, ah need to check on him, and the OGA at semi-immiqration Post, ah lovely and nice Man.

OBSERVATIONS
CI people understand ABIT anqlais, buh won't tell u, buh if they really wanna help, they will ask u to parle anqlais.
CI is a ruqqed city (Abidjan), and they love niqht life.
CI women hips is baba nla final !! (qh comes second)
CI has a breakfast that looks like Shawarma, and they eat there breakfast while walk on the road, mostly students.
CI smoke without control, homme et femme. Smokinq is like there way of life.
CI qirls like touchinq body (lolz, ah notice dat with the lady sittinq beside me wink )
C'est tout pour le moment.

Niqeria bank (mostly ecobank) need to make sure there staffs understand another UN lanquaqe.
The CC ah met at ecobank Abidjan, understand abit enqlish, and with ma french, we were able to flow. (yeah, ah need to visit dat lady on ma next visit)

In all, it was really a fun expérience, and ah will definitely qo back prochaine année.

ah remember, ah walked past à semi laqos island around one area like dat (dont even know where ah was, me wey dey look for bank), jesu...... Yoruba women has taken over that area, Infact for a few seconds, ah thouqht ma ears were playinq pranks. shocked shocked, wow........ Yoruba women, ah hailllll ooo.

Wow... what an expérience. !!

Yoruba women, ah hailllll ooo.

oh my God thats the best Idea of the year. You would be in Money that you yourself would be tired of. but then you will need a capital to start. The bead is highly selling at Abidjan. My Sister is selling bead there too. we are ivoirians. i can connect you with couple of peeps too. But moneybto start is the main thing. You will have to buy beads from Lagos the make is there as per the customers design and style. My sister sell beads minimum 11k cfa. check that.

so butbyou have to carry many beads and have connections in both countries so that your people can send more to you. cos its expensive in Abidjan and fashionista needs more. Remember Abidjan is a home of gashion in Africa.
please, how do I contact you about this, would love to start bead in Abidjan. can we talk on phone, how much do I need to use to start and in what areas in Abidjan is markets needed and highly profitable.
