Besides, Seun maybe I will start putting you in my prayer for God to arrest you just like he arrested Paul (Saul)
Does prayer actually work? People have been praying for the naira to rise, and it's not happening.

To be very frank and sincere with you, just yesterday, I was just asking myself that "does egbon Seun attend church at all? Though I couldn't find an answer to the question. cheesy

Now my own question, Oga Seun, would you also raise your children to be atheists?
Re: Has Mr. Seun Osewa Gone To Church Before by donnie(m): 10:29am On Nov 07, 2016
Seun:
If that were true, you would have posted a link to the thread where it happened instead of just making the claim.

That will be difficult to find. I said what I said with the hope that you still have some integrity left, not because I can find the link.

God whom I serve is my witness.

It was on a certain thread where I stood on the truth that Jesus was the only way to the father. You tried to create a balance like "what about other religions... will they go to hell for not believing in Jesus?"

I insisted using scriptures, then came your reply.... "If so, I am no longer a Christian from today..."

This was several years ago, but it never left my memory. I don't know if I can find that thread, but I will try. Perhaps we lost some threads on nairaland when it crashed years ago?

Nevertheless it is a shame that even you will require a link from me as proof for something you already know in your heart.

I'll raise them to base their beliefs on reason and evidence, and I won't let anyone try to force them to go to church. Sundays will be for family interaction, not indoctrination.

Yes prayers work.
That's why you need to see a good Christian counsellor so that you can express all your fears about Christianity.
someone suggested u attend RCCG convention. If you can request to see the overseer its also cool so that you can be counselled.
You need to experience the power of God.

If I go by what you just said about interaction and not inductrination and putting that side by side with nairaland I would clearly say you are wrong on many levels and playing coy here.

Right here on nairaland you are bent on atheistic inductrination and then you turn around to say you would give your children room for interaction and not inductrination yet when you open threads all I see on such threads are missing posts, deleted comments and so on which shows you choose what you want to read and are not really open to interaction. if you are not open to strangers is it your kids you would be open to?

Lol... Bro if you were spiritually filled with the word and power of God, you wouldn't have been saying such things. What of people that left christ and sold their souls to satan ? Ain't they richer than they were when they were christians ?
Look at beyonce, she was a gospel singer before, but after leaving christ she sold her soul to the devil, and now she's among the top female musicians in the world. So i wouldn't be surprise with your case.

Sir Seun, if it is the will of God for naira to devaluate, then no matter the prayer it won't stop, instead it'll shorten the days of naira devaluation. But if the naira devaluation is as a result of our Nation commiting sin against God, if we repent and pray for it to reduce, God is willing and just to forgive us and he'll surely remove it in an instance.
Example: Elisha's prophesy of Israel's famine to end instantly. Read: 2 Kings chapter 6:24 - 7:16. God is powerful.

It doesn't surprise me that you would make a serious claim without any evidence and insist that it's true. Thats how religious charlatans have always operated. However, I'm shocked that you got someone to believe you. I shouldn't really be shocked since I know how gullible people can be, but I am. This is why atheists must rise up and fight against the pervasive cancer of illogical thinking. When Nairaland crashed in 2014, we only lost posts made within January and June 2014, so it can't be the reason why you can't find the evidence for your bold claim.

Seun pause for a second and take a second look at your rant in response to donnie....just look at it line from line then ask yourself who is overreacting especially when you said you would be opened to interractions...

Would donnie fabricate such a statement and to what gain? Your records show he has been a member since 2005 besides you are the admin of NL and its so easy for you to get to his post where you said that and have it deleted afterall you easily delete posts on your threads?

Can he not also say you could have deleted his claim so it wouldnt implicate you? you have the knife and the yam and are judge and jury here.

Stop being irrational pls.

Yes. . . donnie . . . Mr. Seun is saying the truth. Out of curiosity I wanted to know what he looked like because Id never seen his face before and I googled his name. . . I saw one post made by a 'Seun Osewa' in reply to someone asking, saying he's losing his religion. Seun's reply was 'I lost my religion years(or 'a long time', I can't remember the exact words) ago'. But the post was dated to 2005. And I don't think he had created Nairaland by then. . . so, stop these lies.

You do realise that if this was a court of law you would not be a credible witness..simply because your words are all over the place and do not provide exactness.

You do realise that anyone could say he is Seun Osewa on any media platform....ask facebook or instagram

Ah, the will of God. The excuse by Christians for God not answering their prayers. It is really a poor one because if majority of prayers go unanswered then one can conclude that the the Christian God is false.

Better put I would allude that seun was probably a closet atheist back then and was probably looking for an atheist community back then so was still going to church but he totally stopped at a point probably aftet nairaland emerged and his new found fame.

Well, the way he spoke in that post doesn't seem like someone who was still going to church sha. Especially with him saying he 'mourned the loss for less than two years' meaning that he was still trying to go to church during that time and then after a while he cinoeltely discarded it. I don't see what Seun will gain from lying about his atheism. That's just what I feel sha

I stopped going to church years before starting Nairaland. My folks forced me to attend church and the daily family prayer time for a while, but when I started asking questions they couldn't answer, they stopped, because they didn't want me to influence my siblings to lose their faith too.

Here's a thread titled "Why I Am Not A Christian Anymore" which I posted less than a year after starting Nairaland.

All this defence changes nothing Seun...whether you became an atheist before or after nairaland does no change the fact that you are an atheist.

What concerns me is this..

You said you asked your parents questions they couldnt answer...

Were you expecting your parents to have all the answers in life for you? Now that you are an atheist do you have all the answers about life? Would you boldly tell your children that you have all knowledge now so they probably shouldnt bother going to school or asking anyone about anything they just need to come to you.

Would you say your parents encouraged your atheism simply because you wanted answers they could not provide?

I like this thread .....So calm down and consider this your very first official interview for the world...

Why did you really become an atheist? can you share a few of the questions you asked your parents which they could not answer?
