Hey Folks, I am very new and I commend you guys for the good job, This thread is very useful, I am applying for a study permit very soon and I want to ask if it is compulsory one pays the Deposit for seat reservation, my school, Conestoga asked for 1500 dollars as deposit, does paying deposit have influence on VO decision? my second question is regarding landed properties, which part of d property docs do I submit? cos part of property docs like those ones approvals are made is in A3 size and am looking at the ease of scanning it or do I crash it to A4 size as I am going via the online route and do I need to value the property with a Registered Estate Valuer?. I am going for Post Graduate Certificate in Construction Management in Conestoga College. Cheers

Please I need directions and advice on applying for a study visa. I am still waiting for my admission letter from my school. Do I need to do medicals upfront or wait till I apply and they tell me to do the medicals?

Please I'd really appreciate your input. I read as much as I could from this thread and I've learnt alot. But please help me put me thru. Thanks.

HELP! HELP!!!

Have you been granted admission already or not?

If you haven't kindly wait for your admission decision/letter first then you can go ahead for upfront medicals and apply for TRV or wait for your admission letter apply for TRV then wait for medical call from CIC

If you have been granted admission already kindly tell your grad sec to send a scanned copy of your admission letter so you can use that to apply for TRV instead of waiting for the hard copy

Either way chill for your admission letter first

If its stated on your admission letter please pay and attach the recipet with your application
Its not compulsory to use an estate valuer but if u can go ahead
In my own case concerning property docs I submitted only receipts for purchase of the property

1)please whats the chance of he getting TRV.........
2) Will embassy also call his bank?

VO cant see beyond the date that is on your SOA. no one would disclose any info beyond what you submitted (i mean from the bank). so lets say he submitted last month, VO cant b asking about anything about that acc from this month, their inquiry cant go beyond d stated date on the SOA. he shud go ahead and do what he needs to do.

But what the point of Entry, isn't it the same SOA that will be tendered?
Pls anyone in canada should assist in writing his/her detailed experience after alighting from the plane to leaving the airport with study permit.

Hi good afternoon. I have read through most of the posts and I have gained so much information. Thank you nairalanders.
I just got a conditional admission into University of Regina. I am planning on going in January. I know it's a short time but am really trusting God. Please I was wondering which is the fastest route to take; paper or online route.
I am doing an upfront medicals and I have sent my official transcript to the school which shoukd get there by friday (reason for the conditional letter).
Am planning on submitting my application this week. Please I need your suggestions, paper or online?
Thank you for your help.

Boss.. please this process is too strenuous than for you to be playing cards with.... aside of all other things there's an average processing time for each country.
My advise.... drive your admission towards May 2017 if possible. It's wiser to do it right the first time .... January is too close to gamble with except of course you want to apply from UK which has approx 4weeks processing time.
Good luck.

Even though this particular question has been answered several times, I would suggest u go for paper route submission at VFS Lekki, with your upfront medical then link it online afterwards.

iruomaz63 can still apply this November as there is still time since iruomaz63 is going to Masters. The embassy can still take decision before January or request for a new offer letter. Iruomaz63 move on with your application but make sure you submit sufficient documents.
