I disagree. They exist. If they don't exist then the belief of their existence wouldn't be existing around the world just like that. Don't forget these beliefs span centuries back. When there was minimal flow of info and culture.

As far as I am concerned, witches and wizard is the adult ojuju version. Imagine say all the witches and wizards dey always be poor men and women for village when they can just fly enter Central Bank or Zenith Bank and park enough money. Just as ojuju is used to scare children, witches and wizards are used to scare adults. Simple and Short.

The fear of witchcraft is directly linked to the general education of the populous. The more educated the population of an area is the less witches they perceive and vice versa.
Africans think they are the ones that started witch hunting. But the truth is compared to the Europeans we were all learners, yes the white people once believed strongly in witchcraft. The Malleus Maleficarum translated as The hammer of witches is arguably the most damning text in all of literature. Written in 1486 by Catholic Inquisitors, it prescribed how to kill, torture and identify witches. And for almost 200 years it was the best selling book second only to the Bible. The book with sponsorship from the Pope killed tens of thousands of women accused of witchcraft.
But today people in Europe are smarter and no one talks of witches again. Why?
Education my friends is a mind opener.

you know what pains me the most about doubting the supernatural is that OK is that when something happens to them it's not them that do the running around its their parents, girlfriends,brothers or sisters that do it for them. because you don't believe in something does not rule out the fact that it's exist and because you know alot does not conclude you know all one of this days I pray any of you atheist don't get into deep spiritual shit as in deep shit then you would see how well your knowledge and probably money you have would safe you .

My brother, we are Africans and I can tell you that their are metaphysical powers. If you don't believe in all of these, then you ain't a Christian because it was clearly stated in the Bible. I unfortunately cannot tell you my supernatural experience because you will give a scientific explanation for it and still not believe ( supernatural experiences are simply rare advanced scientific phenomenon occurring to or around an individual by pure coincidence or conspiracy, same way supernatural beings are simply entities which operate with an intelligence at least 10X better than humans hence they can influence matter, shape shift and perform "miracles" Imagine when you can consciously control your facial muscles and every blood vessel and nerve ending in your body, you can change your height, change body mass and shift air proportions to fly). You seun cannot see spirits or be harmed by them because you have a powerful faith that they do not exist and they cannot harm you. The bible says that if we have faith as little as a mustard seed, we can tell a mountain to be cast into the see.
The human being is very powerful in such a way that if we have absolute faith in something, even without talking, we can control that circumstance with our brain/mind examples are (telekinesis, telepathy, teleportation), hence only a very powerful being like God himself can affect you despite your absolute faith that he can't. But if he doesn't want to save you, he wont bother breaking your illusions.

Seun, witches and wizards exist, in Nigeria, the world over. There could even be one or two in your neighbourhood.

The supernatural realm is real. Spiritual realities, though, can't always be proved with empirical data. One has to experience it to be in the know.

Make no mistakes. God exists. So does the devil. So do their ''assistants''. Angels, arch angels etc in case of God. Demons, fallen angels, witches/wizards etc in case of the devil.

It's actually ridiculous to hear someone say he doesn't believe in the supernatural. I laugh. If they really want to know, they will know. Let them first and foremost visit a shrine and defecate on it. Most traditional rulers e.g chiefs, obas etc are very fetish.

We can argue from a Christian perspective but that is only a mere point of view, There are many societies and cultures that are none Christian , do not believe in witches or wizards and they survive and thrive how is that possible?

I do not know about witches or wizard, but there are supernatural powers and scientifically advancements backs this.

I grew up in the village in Nigeria and have the consciousness of both the evil and good supernatural powers. One thing I also believe is that, the more one believe in them, the more they have powers over you and it could be metaphysical.

Google 'Area 51' (Air Force Base, Nevada, USA, codename 'Dreamland')... the US is harnessing the prowess of supernatural extra-terrestrial beings to develop the next generation stealth fighter planes and weaponry.
