Dele Momodu has been seriously disappointed as he had been looking forward to be called in for ministerial appointment and that having failed he started dreaming of ambassadorial nomination even as Nigerian ambassador to Ghana where he ran to years back to publish his Ovation the magazine which has since gone into doldrum.
All these having failed he had no alternative than to join the wailers team. Can any reasonable person ever which for the return of GEJ to the administration of this country with the billions of billions of dollars and Nairas that has disappeared into private hands under his watch even mama Patient is not excluded among those who have laundered country''s wealth and brought the nation to where we found our selves to day. So Dele the wailers happily welcomes you.
The guy is bankrupt, and he knows the only way to finance his previous wasteful lifestyle is to get a government appointment. Since he got nothing, he has been acting like a vengeful little boy, but the General is not moved neither does he notice if momudu even existed.

The people mostly hailing him on that facebook post are biafrans who are bitter that GEJ lost the last election. GEJ is not even interested in coming back. They should let the man rest.

You will be crowning your foolishness if you think Tinubu is fighting APC/Buhari because Nigeria economy is in recession or bad shape.

Tinubu is fighting for control and sharing of national cake. This has been the traditional and entrenched expectation of politicians like Tinubu. BUhari is not allowing this and the reason he is flexing muscle in SW. He will humbled very soon.

The word democracy is fast fadding away. How do you expect Buhari to lose 2019 when INEC is already dependent barely two years on from the last general elections? See my friend, we are in for a long hard walk of 8 years and I suggest we fasting our seat belts cause Buhari aint losing come 2019. I guess thats the hard prize to pay for being swayed by vague promises.

If only PMB and his crew would listen then they can still save the situation. My problem with GEJ was his handling of bokoharam and looting. The problem PMB has is basically the ECONOMY!!! When you are hungry , you are angry!! If they can just take the economy back to where it was this whole tide will chjange.

As long as oil remain the mainstay, then its people( niger deltans) must be respected. Whatever PMB has to do to put a stop to the bombing of pipelines needs to be done. If it means taking out the army completely while the airforce and navy would be their stricly for surveillamnce to prevent stealing via vessels, I think that will send a strong signal. I can't imagine why he would gamble with his only and major source of income. Intead they are looking for oil in the north and spending billions in the process. I will feel terrible if PMB fails, because already he is, that doesn't make me a wailer!!!!! First it was aisha , now dele momodu, this should tell PMB that he is getting it totally wrong

Trash!

What do we expect from a government that inherited an empty treasury and a crazily low 21usd per barrel crude?

Dele momodu is probably high on Brazilian weed...If not for plea bargain Jonathan should be in jail by now.

A case where a president was so ignorant, weak and totally dumb to allow billions to be looted under his nose.

Buhari is only a victim of circumstance and I guess the only thing he did which was a faupax is choking forex in order to prevent looted funds from leaving the country which unfortunately led to increase in exchange value but then can we really blame him for taking this measure? Apparently all the hard currencies found in soak aways, different bank accounts with fictitious names and the ones recently found in the homes of judges would have found there way outside the country if the forex was not choked.

As far as I'm concerned. .I will blame the previous PDP regime that brought greedy leaders who collaborated to destroy our economy, building refineries outside the country and setting up fictitious third party companies to export our crude to their different refineries outside the country, bring pms back to us and even collect subsidies on it....I WEEP FOR OUR YOUtHS who are not smart enough to understand that Buhari is really a God sent to deliver us.

Economy recession is not because of Buhari but it's all over the world and all opec nations are feeling the heat.

We should stop blaming Buhari but rather the past clueless governments who failed to plan and save for the bad times even when a barrel of crude was between 100 to 160usd per barrel unlike the 21usd of today.
We should blame the Niger delta avengers for crippling our economy with crazy bombings of refineries and gas stations thereby plunging the nation into more problems and worse still is one of their condition for peace "that Buhari stops probing looted funds" how insane

As far as I'm concerned,at the moment Buhari is the only man I can vouch for and if not for the rule of law under democracy which is really slowing down things,we would have seen a speedy effect of his leadership..but now looters are even fighting back with the looted funds all because of rule of law that saw many supreme court judges getting bribed....some times I just believe we are not yet ripe for democracy.

Enough of this ignorance.

People think corruption is something you can fight so easily. It is a major economic sector in 9ja. cool

You have to strengthen institutions, push for rapid growth & better incomes generally. Give people hope. Singapore & Malaysia did that and today corruption is minimal & rightly seriously punished.

But as it is the economy looks rudderless, inflation through the roof & people groaning.

EXTRACT FROM DELE MOMODU's ARTICLE TITLED 'THE SECOND COMING OF GOODLUCK JONATHAN'

I have been reading about the rising profile of our former President, Dr Goodluck Ebele Jonathan, and wish to state without equivocation that no one should rule him out of the 2019 presidential race. I first hinted this possibility about two months ago and wish to reiterate that Nigerians should prepare for the shock that awaits us. The story of Donald Trump should bring us back to our senses. Nothing is impossible. The second coming of Goodluck Jonathan may be so far-fetched or even belong in those categories of impossibilities but I wish to plead with our government and my fellow citizens not to rule it out. As one of those who made our modest and humble contributions to the coming of this Buhari government, I’m pleading with trepidation.

Jonathan’s popularity is rising not because of anything he has done to atone the sins that must have led to his waterloo but as a result of what our change government has failed or refused to do. The obsession of our government with going all out after Jonathan is the main reason the Otuoke man is beginning to smell like roses after the odoriferous position he landed himself last week. Only if our government had succeeded in maintaining the economy it met, Nigerians would have been ready to enter fire with Buhari. But there are just too many unresolved problems and challenges. The excuses that Jonathan and company left this peculiar mess behind has refused to fly. The groans might not be loud enough to reverberate all the way to the Aso Rock Presidential Villa, as of now, but trust me it may become deafening, sooner than later. I do not care if men and women of power dismiss my submission with a wave of the hand but they should mark my word, there is a thickening conspiracy in the clouds. It would be a shame if we inadvertently play into the hands of those hovering and ready to pounce on Buhari.

I read about “persecution complex” long ago and I understand how it works. If you beat your own child so ruthlessly as if you want to kill him, the tilt of public opinion would always go against you. Many would wonder why you want to kill your own child. In our anger, let us pick our fights. There is too much tension in the land. I would be delighted if anyone could educate and convince me that Nigeria has gained much more than we’ve lost to this war of attrition. If we haven’t, we may need to retrace our steps urgently.

The BBC reported on Friday how Jonathan caused a stir in Sokoto State during his visit to the state to pay his respects to Ibrahim Dasuki, the late former Sultan of Sokoto. According to the report, Jonathan was received by a large crowd of admirers, some holding banners bearing the words “Come Back Baba Jonathan”. The same voices that chanted “Sai Baba” and “Jonathan Must Go” are now fiddling with the tunes of the possibility of a Jonathan to stage a comeback. Here lies the irony of political triumph and the paradox of high expectations.

The euphoria and momentum that saw the exit of Jonathan and the emergence of the Buhari change administration has since begun to wane following the inability of the new government to hit the ground running with the tenacity of a government in a hurry!

There are many who believe that the poor management of the ensuing economic recession didn’t help matters. Suddenly, Nigerians who had high hopes and voted massively for change are now caught in a limbo between confusion and uncertainty. As it stands today, the average Nigerian is confronted with the reality of an economic recession they never planned for; a situation they did not experience under the Jonathan administration and under previous governments.

Many of President Buhari’s supporters are worried that the humongous goodwill that engineered the Buhari change mantra is now being frittered away at the speed of light. The unfolding plot has now thrown up former President Jonathan as a new protagonist in Nigeria’s theatre of the absurd. For many of us who are ardent students of history, we have since learnt that nothing is impossible in the game called politics. Will history repeat itself again? Time is pregnant with answers!

Who are the people calling for GEJ's return? Igbos? Yeye people - the same people that could not return him to power 2015.

Buhari is on tract... Things may be hard but what option do we have? To go back to looting of the little that now comes from oil?

We know there is no free money again - people now have to work for every penny they earn. No stolen money to lavish on girl friends, properties in London and Dubai. And by extension, no free money for looters errant boys, their families and friends. All beneficiaries of looting are in trouble.

Anyway, despite recession and paucity of fund , we could see infrastructure projects going on everywhere from north to south - the projects abandoned by GEJ for looting.

This is two days running that we are enjoying power supply in my area.

Gradually, Nigeria will begin to work while professional looters and all those who benefit from corruption will continue to wail.

Oga where are the projects since Buhari came in except i n his padded budget and pages of newspaper
