cruzmaxi9000:I think that is where the problem is. Someone stated earlier that the regular one is now outdated. You need to sit for the other. |

Hey guys, do you reckon it's best to do the B1 ielets test for spouse visa than using his degree certificates as he will be required to the English test for flr anyway. What are your thoughts? Thanks ![]() |
| Re: UK Spouse Visa/Appeal Process-part2 by Foreveryours201: 5:02pm On Nov 23, 2016 |
benileo:Yes you can address it to the UKVI or the ECO. If the application has already been created you could use the GWF number as the reference in the letter. |
| Re: UK Spouse Visa/Appeal Process-part2 by Foreveryours201: 5:06pm On Nov 23, 2016 |
MG2801:You could, I have heard a number of people sitting the B1 as that is what they would eventually need for FLR. However, if the degree was studied and examined in English and you have the degree certificate, letter from the University confirming this, as well as a transcript then you can always go down the comparability route with UK Naric. The certificate/statement from UK Naric will need to be submitted with the visa application though. |

Foreveryours201:Thanks for your reply. During the flr application, will the degree route be accepted as it's been used for a successful previous application or would my hubby be required to take the ielets test? |
| Re: UK Spouse Visa/Appeal Process-part2 by Benz101: 8:11pm On Nov 23, 2016 |
MG2801:Madam Portsmouth has created a forum on flr. If you can dig into previous pages you will see the link. Some of the people with successful application are there. I visited the forum once, I need to be done with this before crossing over there. |
| Re: UK Spouse Visa/Appeal Process-part2 by Foreveryours201: 8:34pm On Nov 23, 2016 |
MG2801:It can be used all the way through. Just make sure you use the Naric service. |

benileo:Hello guys, Please I need your help again Can someone send me a copy or sample of a sponsor letter for my settlement visa?. And do I need to submit my passport photo along other documents? Thank You. |
| Re: UK Spouse Visa/Appeal Process-part2 by Uchman365: 10:38pm On Nov 23, 2016 |
benileo:There's no "sponsor letter" to write, just fill in all the forms. If there's anything you want to add, they provide a space for it. Take all your documents to the centre, they will collect the ones they need from you, the rest you can send to Sheffield. |

| Re: UK Spouse Visa/Appeal Process-part2 by Foreveryours201: 9:43am On Nov 24, 2016 |
benileo:I gave a rough outline of this a couple pages back. They will definitely take your completed and signed application form, your original TB certificate, your passport. I would advise you make a copy of anything original you send to them. |

@deept Thank you very much. I had a look at the link and there are not a lot on there and not much from the last few months. @Lexusgs430 Thank you very much. We are praying. Our case is different. I will keep my comments about the lawyer to myself for now. @MreSBee You applied June 23rd and no news, if I was in your shoes I would be contacting them. If there is one thing I have noticed from this group, the cases where they don’t contact then it’s people that contact them and stay on their backs that get answers. Call them. @Benz101 My running mate. Thank you for your timeline. Go to the tls website, track your application to see if Received by UKVI has a green ticked box next to it. If not call them too I can’t believe I am by my phone 24/7 hoping for a phone call. I wish all applicants success. |

Hi Guys, I've booked my biometrics for next week and I have a question on the Financial Requirement form (Annex 2). Where it asks for the details of the other people living in sponsors property, is it absolutely necessary to include their passport numbers or will the name, relationship to sponsor and nationality suffice. My spouse lives with her mum, brother and a lodger. The mum and brothers passport numbers shouldn't be a problem but how about the lodger? Plix epp me o! |
| Re: UK Spouse Visa/Appeal Process-part2 by Lexusgs430: 5:01pm On Nov 24, 2016*. Modified: 6:28pm On Nov 24, 2016 |
TunzAntman:To save rejection on the basis of overcrowding, simply do a property inspection report. If you don't and the voters list throws multiple occupancy. That's a ground for rejection...... |
| Re: UK Spouse Visa/Appeal Process-part2 by TunzAntman: 5:22pm On Nov 24, 2016 |
Lexusgs430:It's a 6 bedroom house. There is a report from a valuation company because they wanted to sell the house earlier in the year so there would have t be like 15 people in the house for it to be overcrowded. It's just a bit intrusive asking the lodger for her passport number (she's an elderly oyinbo lady from SA). So maybe put my wife's mum and bros passport numbers and leave hers blank? |

| Re: UK Spouse Visa/Appeal Process-part2 by Benz101: 6:54pm On Nov 24, 2016 |
benileo:You will need a sponsor letter to confirm that you consent or support your spouse application. The letter is needed as part of evidence of your r/ship. See attached and a copy I used. Address it to The Visa Officer UK Visas and Immigration, international Sheffield United Kingdom. I hope this helps. Good luck.

| Re: UK Spouse Visa/Appeal Process-part2 by TunzAntman: 7:19pm On Nov 24, 2016 |
Lexusgs430:I understand it isn't the same. I believe the docs we have should be enough for the accommodation requirements and that can even be cross checked on the electoral roll. My question is more about filling the form where it asks for the passport numbers of everyone living in the house. |

| Re: UK Spouse Visa/Appeal Process-part2 by Nobody: 12:08pm On Nov 25, 2016 |
My darling, in all sincerity. I will advice you to reapply, it's more expensive but worth it. The appeal may take over a year. Try and do the Ielts ukvi and not just the regular one and provide enough supporting documents for the financial requirement. Your appeal won't be a straight forward one.
Goodmorning everyone, Pls guys, I have been following this trend for a long time now and I'm so happy about what you guys are doing here. I guess you all are doing a great job here. However, I have a bad news and I urgently need your assistance right now. I collected my passport yesterday but unfortunately, it was a refusal. Here is a copy of the refusal letter REFUSAL OF ENTRY CLEARANCE Post referance :***** To:******** Date of birth:****** THE DECISION Suitability Entry Clearance Requirements.......................Met Relationship Requirements..........................................Met Financial Requirement: Your Sponsor is not exempt from financial requirements as defined paragraph E-ECP.3.3. I am not able to take into account any potential employment you have available to you in the UK or any offers of financial support from third parties. In order to meet the 18600pds per annum. You provide documents regarding your sponsor's employment as a health worker with ******* where her annual salary is 17,544.00. Your sponsor has worked there for over 6 months. You state that she also works at ****** but I note that the employment has ended. Therefore, your sponsor's income is 17,544.00pds.In order to qualify, you and your sponsor require 18600pds (shortfall of 1056*2.5 +16000) in savings in order to meet the financial requirements. You have provided no evidence of that provided by sponsor continously for 6 month. I therefore refuse your application under paragraph EC-P1.1 (d) of Appendix FM of immigration Rules (E-ECP.3.1) English Language Requirement:You are not exempt from English language requirement under paragraph E-ECP. 4.2. In addition, you are not a national of a majority English speaking country listed in paragraph GEN1.6 and have not passed an English language test (A1 Level of Common European Framework) with a provider approved by UKBA and/or do not hold an academic qualification recognised by NARIC UK to be the equivalent to the standard of a Bachelor's or Master's degree or PhD in the UK, which was taught in English. You have provided an IELTS certificate but this does not contain a unique reference number used to verify the score using the IELTS SELT Consortium Online System. I therefore refuse your application under paragraph EC-P.1.1 (d) of Appendix FM of the Immigration Rules (E-ECP.4.1) However, my wife had two jobs which we included in my documents that we submitted. The first one is her permanent job with the Dene where she earns 17,544pds and also worked overtime which also reflected in her payslips that the visa officer refused to look at. Also she had another temporary job which is Agency that she uses to support her other job which has not also ended. But because we collected a letter from them which stated the date she started with them and the date she did her last work with them, the visa officer had to consider it that the job had ended. More so, I wrote an IELTS exam on March, 2016 which was conducted by the British Council in Nigeria where I scored 6.0 in my Listening 4.0 in my reading, 6.5 in my writing and 7.5 in my speaking and there was a link before the certificate to verify it online but the visa officer said it does not have a unique number on it. Pls do I have any chances in my appeal to overturn this decision? Pls all the gurus in the house and other ppl in the house, I urgently need your advise
|

Don't be scared, I submitted just about 6 months communication details (just viber and bbm, we didn't even submit phone calls) too and some pictures we took dt same year( but loads of wedding pictures about 40) cos I and my spouse only dated for 8 months before we got married and applied and I got my visa.
