Sorry about your delay..

You saw pit and you went ahead and enter, Are you saying the school doesn't have computer science department or faculty? Abi nah those people do am for you?

Also you have Bsc before and going for another bsc but you couldn't get the time to tell VO why new Bsc and again is not related to your previous degree..

Try and get a course related to your CS an refire back please

Thanks man, and lol no agent helped me, did all myself. The school has apologised and agreed to send me a new I20 with any major I choose. I've decided to defer d admission to fall 2017 intake

Please gurus in the house. What is d minimum personal travel allowance to enter USA as a student?
Re: General U.s.a (student) Visa Enquiries-part 10 by OGreene: 2:32pm On Nov 24, 2016
PTA is just getting foreign currency at the official rate for the purpose of travelling. You show proof of travel (passport with visa and flight ticket) at the bank, and they remove the naira value from your account and give you the currency you requested for.

The maximum you can get is $4000 or it equivalence per quarter(CBN directive). There is no minimum. Some ppl dont even get to buy PTA when they re travelling because the bank may not have sold the PTA to them due to unavailability. These ppl kuku get the dollar from mallam at a high price; any amount they want- $100, $10,000 etc.

Travellex is also there at the airport to sell to those that want to buy. Still $4000 max.

PTA is better coz its way cheaper.

Form A can help wt ur fees and expenses whl in school

Same way you buy dollar from mallam, you can buy from the Bank at the CBN official rate and must not exceed $4000 per quarter.

Usu a country is meant to make a provision for her citizens to access/buy foreign currency if they intend to travel to a country dt uses diff currency. This called travel allowance. It can be Personal (PTA) or Business Travelling Allowance (BTA) - if its a company you for work purpose, usu $5000 max. And can be gotten from Banks or licensed operators eg. Travellex

You can inquire from the banks where u run an account and see if they will sell to you. Its been tough this year since 'change' era. In July rate was N283/$, now its over 300. I knw ppl who got from Stanbic, Unity and Zen.

@ larmeedeh.u can open an access bank account if ur transaction is not more than 200 dollars, I think their maximum limit is 200 dollars in a month and their charges is close to gtb which is 322 naira to one dollar based on today abokifx ,secondly u can open dollar account and solicit for dollar or transfer dollars to ur dollar account and thirdly u can ask someone to pay for u in USA or else where and pay them naira equivalent. My opinion though. I started to be Corrected.

Does the consular collect passport photograph himself?? I don't think so...
In abuja consulate you submit your passport photograph at the first screening point b4 u proceed for thumb printing...Consular does not collect passport photograph, he only collects your international passport if visa is approved

Worry not! Remember the first place you did your bio metrics? Your picture was already scanned right there. VOs don't scan or retain pictures.
