It's crystal clear now that getting a trv with pgc (d) is tough compared to that of UG or Masters. Is it then possible to be granted a change of class from UG to pgd or pgc after securing trv with an UG course .Ideas will be appreciated pls
It only looks so but I do not belong to that school of thought...
It has been mentioned severally on this thread that PGD/C isn't the problem...... although it looks like there's so much attention on it... yes... because majority of applicants go through that route (since securing masters admission is a bit tough)
1. Maybe cos it's easier to secure PGD admission... we take it for granted and end up choosing wrongly.... Leading to program variations which is seen as career diversion ...... "Purpose of visit" is then flagged!!
2. On various occasions... even when we have chosen programs that aren't in tandem with our UG or present employment.... our LoE required to finish the job and clear the doubts... come out "very weak" (and we know there are enough proof to let us realise now that VOs do really read our LoE/SoP)... Our English and choice of words sometimes may be a problem... Yes!!!. A VO will then wonder if a graduate actually wrote this 'bullet ridden' LoE!!!
* don't be too sure; let others check your write ups plssssss!!!!!
3. Have we ever considered choosing a program in trying to beat the VOs thought of...eg. "why can't Mr. D just sit in Nigeria to do his Businesses Administration program" since it is available everywhere here and cheaper
There are so many things we should put behind our thoughts when applying and not think PGD is the problem.... At least we have had testimonies of approvals now and then.
It will end in praise!!

CannyZionist:

Bro, sorry I didn't see this initially. Now that you know it's only financial issue, you can tackle that with a good SOA, be it from you or your sponsor and a good SOP. I presume you are going to UoR, as I learnt their offer lasts for 3terms, so you only need to inform them you won't be attending till spring. It is well with you. Refire and you will get it this time. All the best
You Are very correct chief. Ureissue.admission is for 3 sessions. Yeah its only financial issue. Will inform my school

My guess was as good as right!!.. What you will need to do is to outline details of your application and let the gurus help us dissect and xray through.(from UG to employment to sponsorship)
Take a minute also to see my post of some minutes ago on PGD/Cs.
We Will repackage and give a hot shot!
Regards.

First list your docs, finances, state your first degree course and intended course of study. We can then take it up from there. In all, be hopeful you will get your trv this time.

Thank you for your response bro., while I agree that pgd (c) isn't an off entirely I still hold dearly that it is tougher, now back to my question is it possible to change from UG to PGC after arrival in Canada. Thank you

Changing institution at the post-secondary levelIf you applied for a study permit to attend a post-secondary institution after June 1, 2014, you must notify Citizenship and Immigration Canada (CIC) via your MyCIC account every time you change institutions. You are not required to apply for a new study permit when changing institutions that are at the same level of study (e.g., from a college to a university)

Be strong. Address their concerns and reapply. Best wishes. List all the financial commitments and documents you presented? Are u using a renewed passport? What is your previous programme and intended programme? If related, did you explain why u wanna go for it?

my first advise is change program. countless refusals have been recorded here on this HRM,but what is your undergraduate program/work experience to see if HRM has any relationship to it? as a mature adult, your personal SOA should be more than or equal to 1 million

human resources management is NEVER related to Economics. don't feel because both are under ART and Humanities/social sciences mean that they are related. this is like saying chemical engineering is related to mechenical engineering because some borrowed courses are taught together in 2nd yr/3rd yr of UG level and under faculty of engineering

I think you need to really educate and re-educate guys here consistently... While our people continue to complain about the complexity of PGD approval... they forget to notice that rules/guidelines have not been adhered to!!!
For example... A thousand SoP will never be able to drive any relationship between Economics and Human Resources Mgt.
I've sounded this severally.... be careful about your choice of programs!!!...

These things may only work in places like UK but not Canada!!!.... Guys, choose rightly plsssssss!!!!!

It is painful when one has waited this long to get refused on things we could have ordinarily addressed before submission.
God help us.

Re: Travelling To Canada Part 11 by Nobody: 10:22pm On Dec 10, 2016
The two sponsors account aren't convincing as the flow of money and balance is meagre when compared to your school required fees. They may also believe the FD isn't specifically reserved for you. There may not see how related HRM is to your previous programme. Add ur previous passport visa pages and stamps if you are using a renewed passport.

first we should do the needful before pouring our hearts in trying to convince the VO of the relationship. SOP is just a cosmetic to a good packaged application.even without SOP,when there is relationship,a VO may approve.

I have a problem with your sponsor statement of account.

If your fees per semester is cad8k, 3 semester for one session=24k= #6m + 3.25m (upkeep and travel allowance of cad13k)= #9.25m at #250/1cad. Your sponsors account shows that they can afford just 1/4 of it. Cos I really cant see any evidence that you can pay for the cost too. It is an expensive shit.

Bros, you have to show that you and or your sponsors can conveniently afford #9.25m minus themselves and their family. Bros, I think you need account with statement of about #7-10m at least from your individual sponsors, because they have kids and wife, and their account history should reflect inflow of about #20-40m at least, because you going for more than 2 years program . their income via employment or business must refect it. You need good account and strong evidence to back it up.

Your purpose issue has been dealt with by others.

Take time to repackage and refire. God will make it happen this time.

Countries that have same or better immigration policies as Canada are.. New Zealand, Australia and Ireland.... Your next option would be USA.. While a last option that I won't advise under prevailing current conditions is UK!
You should still reapply to Canada though... since you have great chances.
