Exactly bro...and after 3 years she came back and I gave her a second chance but I could not stand her arrogance so I had to put a stop to the affair and here I am at very advanced age trying to start all over again...so sickening.

The woman forgot to mention these:

Because you are a woman, a man is expected to pay for you when you both go out, while you just eat and enjoy.

Because you are a woman, a man is not expected to hit you.

Because you are a woman, it's expected of men to do the physically challenging and strenuous jobs, while you do the easy ones.

Because you are a woman, men are expected to protect you like they were your bodyguards.

Because you are a woman, a man is expected to provide for you and take care of you, even if you can provide and take care of yourself.

Because you are a woman, men are expected to defy their natural programming, take medications, do exercises and practice hard, just to spend an inordinate amount of time pleasing you during sex.

I despise posts like this. The writer is painting a hyperbolic picture of what women experience while demonizing men in the process. She is also victimizing her gender in such a dishonest way, and making it seem like all she said is a true representation of how majority of men view or treat women in our present day.

And I find it quite funny that the minority of women who are actually facing subjugation, like the women in the Taliban, aren't the ones creating this kind of post, it's these trend seeking, brazilian hair-wearing, face-painting, dress-slaying, gadjet-flaunting opportunists that know nothing about their world, and who have it easier than their Nigerian male counterparts, that are the ones passionately championing feminism on social media.

All you feminist apologists should just shut the fuuuck up. There has never been a better time for women in the history of human civilization than now. The world is getting better for your gender. Fuuucking remove the ideological blindfolds from your eyes and see.

Op, why don't you borrow a time machine and take your disingenuous thread to 18th century Nigeria. That's where it would make sense.
The op is absolutely correct. The fact that so many share your opinion based on the number of likes you have, simply shows that she is right. You're not a woman living in today's world. Let's make that Nigeria. Successful women are still called w.hores. Not just by men, but also by ladies who are yet to achieve their own success, or who think they have no morally correct or legal way of achieving it.

A lady is successful, but not yet married? She is told to get married. We've seen this countless of times on nairaland. Linda Ikeji, Rita Dominic, Genevieve Inaji... Go and get married is the regular comment that heralds their achievements.

I don't think the op is a feminist, she is just telling it the way it is.

And handsome men don't flirt?
Not all expecially those who love GOD.

Ever since I gave my life to Christ at the tender age of 13 I have had this zero tolerance to sexual recklessness and that has helped me till date.

In my area people have wondered if I'm. OK and in fact a lady was bold enough to walk up to me to ask "how come we don't see you with at least a lady" I just laugh it off.

I have very crazy taste and if I can't marry you I will never come close to you so if it takes me longer than usual to get my taste so be it..

Come to think of it..how many c*nts can a man screw in one life time?

I could get one lady a day to cool off but then I always imagine my guardian angel shaking his head when I start fvckn different ladies...

Self control is a rare virtue....it is better for a man to relax and pick one lady that has what he wants talking about sexual endowments and scr*w the shit outta her than to get down with nkechi titi obiageli....

Equity is that if I'm working and you're working you should pay equal bills and not hide behind the idea of "I am a woman". Equity is that when it comes to making decision you dont shy away. I can go on and on. Like someone has already said women in Nigeria only remember that they are women when there is a huge load to carry or huge responsibility or bills to pay.
Equity means being fair not equal and of course women don't shy away in decision making and most working women contribute to household expenses as well.

I AM A WOMAN!!! -

So what?
I get into an argument with a man, he slaps me, I feel the pain, yet they tell me I provoked him. I should have been quiet, I should have been patient. I should apologize to him.

I get into an argument with a man, I slap him, they tell me I have no respect, no home training. I should have been quiet, I should have been patient. I should apologize to him.

Because I am a woman, I don't have a right to be angry. So, the degree of my innocence is directly proportional to the degree of my silence in the face of oppression and brutality.....

Because I am a woman, my husband cheats on me, I am told to tolerate it to save my marriage. The barbaric and stupid excuse is that ''it is in their nature to cheat, I should slim down, dress better, cook better, pray harder and be more pleasant to him"

I cheat, and I am called a LovePeddler, I have committed an abomination, I have no right to look elsewhere for the love and emotional support I lack at home, I am an irresponsible mother.

So I am sent packing, from the home we both built, with all my earthly possessions stuffed into a tiny box on my head. I am henceforth forbidden from seeing my two older children, I'm lucky to be allowed to go with my little one still suckling on my left breast. Three years later, the little one is tagged a bastard. Now, my new name is "after-three", because I am a woman.

He is 28 and runs a company. He's tagged wonderful, hardworking, focused, career oriented, successful at a very young age.

I am 28 and I run a company " Hmmmm, she is not even married, unserious, can not order her priorities right, a hustler, loves money, let her go and get a husband oh"
And I wonder if being successful has anything to do with a person's gender.

Because I am a woman,
I am not allowed to have wits or be a prodigy, I cannot be financially buoyant, professionally successful or be treated with respect without a man beside me.

Then I am tagged a generous leg opener, "a runs girl". They never see the possibility that I actually had to go through ups and downs to get to where I am.
Because I am a woman.

A man looses his wife to death and remarries a year after, he did the right thing, he's being praised and congratulated for moving on, afterall life is for the living.

A woman looses her husband to death and remarries after 4yrs, "ahhh! so early? Are u sure she wasn't sleeping with that man even when her husband was alive? That was why she killed her husband. She's a witch! " Because she's a woman.

Because I am a woman, this post will be considered controversial, and everyone will try to correct me.
But don't forget, that I am a woman and it does not make me less human!!! Happy new year.
. Why not write about many things women are in this country... Gynecologist, Engineering, Teachers, Lawyers, Politicians, Professors etc. Professionals in all works of life and they are married with happy homes.
These are women too.

No, the fact that many share my opinion, gives a kernel of truth to it and validates my points. I don't have to be a woman to understand the reality of what women pass through, and the op painted a dishonest picture of this reality.

It's this victim complex you women have that actually annoys me, and you have just erected this complex in your post. What successful women are being called who.res? Is Chimamanda adichie being called a who.re? Is Ngozi okonjo Iweala being called a who.re? Was the late Dora Akunyili called a wh.ore before she died? How about Deola Sagoe and Folake Cooker? I don't see anyone calling them who.res
It's only irresponsibe women who exhibit who.re-like characteristics that are being called whores. The women who gain their wealth from hard work and the overt addition of value to society, can never be called whores.

Another aspect of conversations with feminist apologists like yourself, is that you bring up really trivial and non-sequitor issues, and then you fixate on them like they are the most consequential issues there are, and like they have anything to do with gender inequality or subjugation and marginalisation of women.
So because people tell Linda Ikeji and Genevieve to get married, that's a form of female oppression in Nigeria? Lol. Don't men also get told to get married? And why shouldn't they be told to get married? Isn't it for their own good? Or is it when they are above 50 that they would get married, since they have made it open that they want husbands? And you are making it seem like it's only NL males that admonish them to get married, NL females also say the same thing. Go to LIB and see the number of women daily who tell Linda to hurry up and get married.

example if a girl slaps me, one I know physically I can beat. ama slap her so hard my finger prints will remain on her cheek forever. that's not fair(because clearly am more stronger), but hey am justified

why do you think Russia and USA trample upon other countries? military. is it fair no. then build your own military.
