I've always had this endless conversation countless times with friends. Well some years ago i used to think it was a sin before i became convinced. But now arguements from family and friends is now making me more confused, pls friends what is your take on this?

Why "While In The Church"? Is a sin in Church not a sin outside Church?

I believe that is the only area Jesus Christ did not addressed probably they were dressing well and issue like this didn't show up. just follow the doctrine of ur church pertaining that

Some of u quoted d scriptures, yeah u r ryt. Buh dont u tink those laws were written b4 Jesus died on the cross. Now there is what we call GRACE. Moreover there were laws like we shouldn't eat creepy things e.g snail. But don't we? Why do we capitalize on Trousers and uncovering of hair, thereby negltn the other laws.

The first verse quoted Dec 22 v 5. do u know that men wore gown in those days? do u know the fashion then and now is totally different? do you know that you are not going to church to show off your dress but to serve the Lord

I believe that God is not looking at what you are wearing but what how you are worshipping. I can't imagine God refusing some1 like a homeless person entrance into his kingdom just because they were not appropriatly dressed according to worldly standards. I beilieve that as time goes on the Bible should be adapted to the time and age we are in. If we are to go with the dress code the bible states then I would like to see every one dressing in a Victorian(not sure what that era was called) manner, or as Africans were in those days loincloth or whatever.

Truth is i don't have strength to type much if not i would 've opened your eyes through the scriptures on why you should stop keeping your hair bare and stop wearing revealing clothes and trousers to church...do you know that even in that old tastament you made referenced to, the garment that men used to wear was specially and specifically designed for men alone to wear??, likewise that of women?, and it was a taboo for both sexes to interwear them?, just like skirts and trousers today?...


See, our problem is we strive so hard to want to balance and make the scriptures to suit our immoral life styles....the principles has already been laid down, it's either you abide by it or you leave it...


Let me burst your bubbles, do you know that before the 80's and early 90's, no woman ever heard or seen in nigeria wearing trousers to church?....so, why now?....well, let me stop here for now cos if i want to go the way i'm led now i might keep typing till tomorrow, don't have such strength and time now....this is why i still rep assemblies of God, deeper life, chosen, mfm, cpm...these are churches that still uphold these doctrines that i can vouche for...
