So I bought a name that was catchy because it was a nickname I used for my son for $600 on friday. Two days later, someone offers 1k for it... I say no..... they raise it to $5000. it was hard but I still said no. sometime sons are more important.

yea backlinks is an advantage in parking as it can pull in traffic from other websites but most importantly are low traffic ranking and high CPC. You can elaborate your other questions for clearer understanding.

Hello. One of my domains was renewed automatically few days back, of which I chatted with Godaddy for a refund, as I am no longer interested in the domain name.

They processed the refund, it reflected on my PayPal account too, but I'm wondering while the fund is not yet reflecting in my MasterCard.

Since Nigeria's PayPal cannot receive funds, I've been thinking maybe that's why the fund in not reflecting in my Gtbank account...
Has anyone asked for a refund before from Godaddy? How long did it take for the fund to reflect back in your account?

@ Lizzlix, Godaddy closeout are expiring domains and totally different from the way I get my domains. Buying it completely will require you to instantly pay for a renewal and it will finally become your domain IF the original owner failed to renew it. if the owner later came back to renew it before the grace period, you will duly be refunded.

Now you may be asking "what type of domain do you go for?" Just like i wrote in the previous pages, I go for EXPIRED/DELETED domains. I just need to research and select the good ones from the bad ones, then register it for just $8.99 dollars and at times with a promo code to further slash the price down.
After that, head over for monetisation. On the type and requirements of the domain to go for before buying, this has clearly been answered in the previous pages. just flip back and research more even OUTSIDE this thread for more enlightenment or visit www.julanky.com for more details and assistance.

Your statement is not clear enough, but if you mean to use it as a blog or to park it somewhere else : just login to your account where you registered the domain and change the DNS to the new place you want to use it now and you are good to go. OK?

But if you want to use it as a blog with blogger, you will also need to enter the name inside blogger.
Try to re explain further if my advice is not enough and you will get a better advice.

sorry. this was what I meant.gudaftr., I have some domain names with over 9$ cpc with about 10k monthly search from usa, three worded and I don't know if they have once being registered or should I go with expired names with some fewer searches and lower cpc. which one will pay better after all
