Nonsense, my phone is passworded and so is my wife's but we know each other's. Infact we use the same password. Its for security purpose and for the kids not to temper with data on the phones.

I passworded for security and privacy reasons not to hide any infidelity or fraud or criminal act from wife and kids. The kids know my password. They use my phone occasionally. I know my wife's. She doesn't bother about mine. She hardly uses my phone.

However certain things still remain private. We can't and need not share everything with spouse and kids.

You should never keep secrets about your healthcare profile from your spouse, fiance, girlfriend or boyfriend. In case of an emergency, they need to know what to do, who to call or what they can use to help you. They can only assist you, if they have your essential details at their fingertips. Imagine a sickle-cell patient, a hypertensive individual or an asthmatic person hiding his medical details from his spouse. He is just signing his death warrant, if he gets incapacitated during an emergency. Do you know how many people die from bad handling, negligence, lack of adequate information and poor medical responses, especially during an emergency?

I don't think it's wrong to have a password on your phone especially if it's a handset you sweat to buy

Sharing it with your partner is highly recommended there are emergency situations that call for using each other's phone
