It is a Calabar angwantibo. It is not a potto because potto stays in very tall trees and have shorter fingers. It stays on top of trees and will head butt you with its Nyash if you try to catch it

Same question I was asking when it was caught by some village hunters I think around June last yr in my village at enugu. The funny thing about the animal is how it holds any stick you bring near it with its almost perfect palm. It s features are well adapted for climbing and it can hardly run faster on the ground. I would have posted it's picture if I had not lost phone that I used to snap the strange creature then.
As to the. name one man identified it as 'ikiri' (Igbo name) and by its behaviour i remembered a popular Igbo proverb that says that 'ikiri was caught by a snare and his kinsmen were pitying him but he told them not to bother as the snare holds him the same way he does'
I am happy because then I felt that that one could be the last species of the animal. By this one it means their population still abound
Though I think there should be parks in Nigeria where anyone who catches these strange species of animal is to bring it for a handsome reward.

looks like panda, but the body of panda is black and white., it may be another specy of panda or koala.
