I got a uk used sony Xperia z3 dual and it recognizes the nano sim but shows emergency calls only, sometimes network comes but disappears after few mins, it' shows emergency calls alot what do i do? Should i test it with another nano sim, could it the os? Pls help

If ya Nano sim is Etisalat, then test another sim cos Etisalat dey get probs , try mtn

It's even mtn, but they had no nano sim in their office today so they had to help me cut the sim with that device, although the network is fluctuating it shows emergency calls alot, even on sim1 and sim 2

I just got another mtn sim, i might try it and check

I just hope it has nothing to do with the phone, cos I remember the seller testing it with an Etisalat nano and it worked

Thanks bro, but it happened last year and it has already been dismantled and ascertained that the board is gone. I just need a phone technician to help with replacing the board and how much will it cost me to replace it.

The bolded is contradictory, or maybe I misunderstood you . Clarify.


• You don't hear your phone when it rings (the ring tone doesn't play?)
• You hear the receiver but they receiver doesn't hear you even with your speaker on except you use an earpiece.

For the second part since the receiver doesn't hear you even with the speaker on except with an earpiece the problem should be with your microphone. If might be dirty/ clogged up.
It's in the small hole usually underneath your device.
Use a needle or so to "chuck" it to clear it.
If it's clear and it still doesn't work you may need to repair it

Good day NLs, my Infinix hot note 2 just got missing now and there are vital and hyper sensitive information on it. Pls how can i track its location or better still how can i disable/lock it off so it wont be useful for whoever has its in his possession now.?

So you don't hear the receiver and the receiver doesn't hear you also?
Have you tried cleaning your microphone?

That should solve the problem of them not being able to hear you.
