Photoshop files are usually set on maximum compatibility to open in any version. It now depends on who created the mockup file whether it was restricted to the particular version used or not. It will be stated in the details what version the file is on the site.

Unzip it on your system, open it and install. If your sothink software is open while doing the above, close it and open again, all the fonts you have installed will automatically be available where you have default fonts in sothink. Hope you understand! As for the logo idea, google, google, and google! Better still make something simple & creative. I no say i no answer you for this one though

Here my mind is playing around with social media logos, for example, somehow if you Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, WhatsApp, Wechat, Skpe etc you tend to think you can easily tell what is a social media logo at a snap of a finger, why? There is a sort of trend and yet all unique in there own right. Above all, simplicity is a Virtue.
Then you have to also get some input from the client as to what he may already have in mind, and to which you could work with those feasible and drop those that are not. His colour choice for example, etc.
