I did not apply in Nigeria... So waiting time is different I applied from Kenya and it takes 6weeks for processing time guess due to less number of people who apply for visa to Canada

Where did you apply?

I guess CIC is giving priority to those resuming by May because I submitted mine(online) on 10th of March. I thought the processing is usually on a first come first serve basis

My father is Kenyan my mother is Nigerian

@Igbondieze I hail you, pls have you gotten any feedback from UNB? My application status recently changed from "Payment Required" to "Application Recieved" , i paid my application fee through bank-wire and it took approximately 6working days for dem to update my status.

I salute you bro..

Boss, this is not an error message! Kindly follow the earlier instructions... You seem not to be interested in trying as advised but just want the form mailed to you!
1. On this same page... Look for 'download' on your right up... Click to download.
2. Open the download... which may give you this same message you attached... Click on 'save as' and save on desktop.
3. Open the form ... From the icon saved on your desktop.
Shikena!!

Hello,
It's good that you pay for your first year school fees.
Also let you account be buoyant it's very important. You need your first year school fees and 10,000 cad as regards finance but it's better you have a little above that or more.

Plus ensure you apply on time.Getting a study permit can take long,I mean long.

Thank you Dara. Noted.

I don't think ur sponsor must be present to swear an affidavit, this is naija, you can do it on his behalf at the court, my thoughts tho, regards.
This would contradict the rules guiding an affidavit, we know that d affidavit being done in naija is just a format dat is easily come by, but swearing an affidavit on behalf of someone is going to raise a red flag bcox u need the person signature and bearing in mind that his not staying in naija would raise redflag.

I totally agree with you I would suggest just a bank statement and a full detailed signed letter from your sponsor will be good to go . and if he has paid the tuition that will be enough to show his willingness and commitment .am not an expert tho just saying

I want to boost my chances of study visa fam that's why I need to write it. I also wanna try schools in Australia

Does TOEFL boost chances of study visa now?

It is OK you want to try Australia too. General easy admission with less funding, but similar prospect. Nice back up plan for the rich. cool

Please be sure not to give categorical statements. I know someone who is about graduating from MSVU she payed full tuition before her visa was granted. She also adviced I made payments (Dat doesn't necessarily give u TRV increases the chances as the case may be (and she actually posted her profile on nairaland here [qquote author=Omodollyp post=55289741]

Msvu doesn't allow tuition payment until Trv is issued. Just show proof of funds

I second what you just said because i know another Nairaland member who is also graduating from MSVU and paid the full tuition as well before getting her TRV.

Hello house,
Has anyone got admission offer yet from Memorial University particularly Msc in Management program?
Re: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 12 by penitential(m): 2:07pm On Apr 06, 2017
Hmmm, as much as I will like to give you my E-mail,
I will still encourage that you should post your questions here.
I may be busy and not be able to respond to urgent questions through E-mail but if posted here, others will respond as fast as possible and even may be better than I will do .
Also other silent observers can learn from others contributions.
Sorry for any disappointment.
