So am not searching. My search is over. Am happy and at peace with my choice. I can't date more than one guy and am not ready to break hearts.
Am in an emotionally stable place as we speak.

Nice thread. I'll be 29 later this year with a prayer to settle down on or before I clock 30.
I think I made a mistake couple of years back by not settling down when I had the chance with a girl; I just got a job she just finished nysc and was all over me to settle down, wish I grabbed that opportunity. Babe is today married with a daughter and we hang out, take her and her daughter to fast food and chill, no hard feelings.
Like the op said, I'm just too choosy now. I'm a final year doctoral student, two years ago I used to say I will not marry any girl who doesn't have at least a masters degree. Last year I dropped that to at least a bsc and working, men this year I just want a God fearing, good Lady..... I've been too choosy I guess.
Met an Akwa ibom chick couldn't move further (I'm AS and oh am from the south west) so it also kinda compound issues.

Chai, you've said it all bro. 99% of the beautiful ones I keep meeting have this mentality that the world revolves around them. They see people like Tonto Dike as role models while Yemi Alade's songs are their favorite. Honestly I'm in a fix, personally I can't marry a lady who is not physically appealing regardless of how good her character is. I'm in my 30's already, not rich but very okay with a couple of businesses. My greatest headache right now is finding Mrs right. I don't know what is wrong with me, my ex was beautiful and met all the physical attributes I needed in a woman but her character was nothing to write home about and my family resisted the Union. Right now, I'm even missing her, simply because I've not been able to find a replacement. I need to marry ASAP yet I don't even have a girlfriend talkless of fiancee! God help me.

If u can be open minded outside your comfort zone and hopefully accept other tribes from other states. You will end up not only having a gf/fiancee. But end up having the wife that fulfils at least 95percent of what u are looking for.
