Are u in Lagos? Maybe u might be close enough to me to come have a feel.

Seriously, i have no complain, hardware and software is well optimized. Some says it's too unwieldy, bcoz of its size, but i can operate it well with my left hand (right hand no reach all buttons). Am used to big screen dou and i love big screens. If u are thinking of buying this phone, u better run fast to pick one on et store or Xiaomi online for 265 usd, for the 4/128 gb version. It's running out of stock fast and they are not restocking it. The 3/64gb isn't more available and the 3/32gb is a no brainer to buy at exorbitant rate its going for.
Make ur choice fast
bro..am in lagos...would like to have a feel, how can we meet?

Wait, it will likely get better or an update will be rolled out soon to fix it, if you can't manage, reinstall the update or backup and do factory reset.

Thanks, boss. This worked. It's back charging normal again.

. Am surprised you use third party Internet counter, or you just prefer it over the stock speed counter?

After few days of update everything will be back to normal, even battery life increase you can just follow previous advice of the factory reset!

The camera is indeed good, confirmed again yesterday, its just the saturation settings that's too low at default.

I just prefer it. I kind of have a thing for the internet speed meter lite. Maybe it's because I've used it across all my devices ever since I came across it. It has become like a part of my mobile device.

Funny comparison seriously, should be the other way round. Anyway, all Xiaomi phones including the old weak Redmi 2 has 7 notification light colours by default

That person looking for 'Deep flash cable'

My advice to you is to not be silly and lose your device. The so called cable is only for when your device is completely dead and that's even a gamble sef.

If all u need is to get your device into Qualcomm diagnostic mode to flash it then what you need is to boot into EDL from fastboot mode

Boot into fastboot, open cmd.

Verify fastboot mode with

"fastboot devices"

Then type

"Adb reboot edl"

If all of this is over your head, then you better forget this thing.

If that does not work for you (it does on every
Qualcomm device) you can try the easy tool in this thread

http://en.miui.com/thread-290959-1-1.html

Let me repeat again, if any of this is over your head, it's best you forget the idea. Nobody is going to be going back and forth with you if you hard brick your device.

If you want to unlock your device officially, it does not matter how long you wait, the only official way to do it is to flash your phone to CHINESE DEV ROM and setup the device as per normal using your PHONE NUMBER and not email to login to Xiaomi services.

Then activate find me service and make sure you can locate it on a browser to be sure your device has been registered.

Then use the tool to unlock bootloader.

From dev rom you can flash global stock rom with recovery to go back to global rom

BTW, you can actually flash the stock fastboot rom with fastboot by flashing individual partitions e.g

Fastboot flash system system.img

And so on for each partition, thus u don't even need EDL mode sef to flash the device.

hmmm..thanks but i might give up soon because ive tried all i can(well, maybe i haven't or im not doing something right) all to no avail.
ive nothing my phone doesnt boot to recovery mode and fastboot, maybe thats y ive not been successful with it. is there anyone in lagos that can assist me to sort this out. Thanks
