The Federal High Court today ruled that the $48m (Forty Eight Million Dollars) recovered from Osborne Towers in Ikoyi be forfeited to the Federal Government.

The judge also said that anybody or organization who thinks the sum shouldn't be forfeited as ruled, should appear before him and state his case.

I don't know why our leaders like playing politics with everything.
If this issue isn't treated well it will make mockery of the whole whistle blowing stuff, I think the life of this whistle blower sef go don dey at stake.
Corruption can only be won if all the parties fight against it together, but in a case we meddle politics with the interest of the nation corruption will keep fighting back.

I'm trying hard to believe this is not a ploy to make us believe they (EFCC) are working.
They set up the stage, and after the play, they return the money from where it came from.

For heavens sake ,is it rocket science to determine who rented the apartment?

So the almighty EFCC can not verify the owner of a house ?

And a whole NIA claims ownership of money! What a national disgrace!

So who owns the house? NIA?

Good one. But the EFCC should be able to unravel the real owners of the money.
We refuse to let this case die without the criminals known.

WHO OWNS THE MONEY?!

It's not just about forfeiture, the owner needs to be named and prosecuted because it is obviously not legally earned income.

This government is such a disgrace. Complete and total disgrace.
Re: Court Ruling On The $48M Recovered From Osborne Towers, Ikoyi by linearity: 8:54pm On Apr 18, 2017
If the money already belongs to the government (aka NIA) as they are making us to believe, why is a federal court ruling that, the money should be forefeited to the government?

There is ojoro somewhere.
