Hmmmm, the experience I had with my ex has been ringing in my mind lately. Hence the reason for creating this thread.

As an Adult preparing to go into marriage, one should be prepared for eventualities. Like the saying goes, marriage isn't just a union of two entities. Rather, when you accept to date or marry somebody, you are in fact agreeing to marry their strengths and weaknesses. Regardless of how much we appraise ourselves, we are not without shortcomings. How we work on it or help others to grow will go a long way in ensuring a lasting relationship/marriage.

So, here the question; guys how do you deal with a nagging girlfriend/wife?

While I'm keen to hear a thing or two from you, I'll love to share my story.

I dated a guy. Hmmmm, he has got almost everything you can ever look out for in a guy. Very intelligent and smart, one thing I so much look out for in my guy.
Amidst all this outstanding qualities, this guy nags at everything thing I do. So how was I able to cope with him?

With the love I had for him, I couldn't help but to take my time and study him. He is temperamental, no doubt. So by studying him, I was able to create a balance between him that I truly love and him that is temperamental. Anytime he nags, All I had to do was keep quiet, never interrupt him. Allow him to get done with whatever he is saying before I say anything. And if I must talk, no matter how much he snapped at me, I'll just say... " No one is infallible. I accept to date you because of your outstanding qualities and I have no regrets whatsoever"

So, guys over to you.

Well, I've been accused of being a nag before & I'm unapologetic about it because I do not believe I ask for too much from people or in relationships in general. I'm an independent, easy going (for the most part) & don't-like-to-be-a-burden type of person, so when I do make a request about something, you best believe it is NECESSARY or URGENT. Because if it was something I could do by myself, I would have done it without asking anyone for help. And if the "nagging" concerns something about the relationship, again, I don't ask for much, so show a little consideration when I do raise an issue because it wouldn't even come up if it wasn't something that really bothers me in some way. When something bothers me, it's highly unlikely that I will let it go just because you're not acting on it. Impossible! I will keep bringing it up until it's either fixed as soon as possible or we go our separate ways because I also don't enjoy repeating myself. To me it almost feels like I'm trying to change a person or like I'm trying to force them to do things against their will, which I'd never want anyone to feel. I'm very black or white

I hardly have a bad day and live a very simple life. I can't have a partner that will be messing up my day from time to time.
