Hmmmm, the experience I had with my ex has been ringing in my mind lately. Hence the reason for creating this thread.

As an Adult preparing to go into marriage, one should be prepared for eventualities. Like the saying goes, marriage isn't just a union of two entities. Rather, when you accept to date or marry somebody, you are in fact agreeing to marry their strengths and weaknesses. Regardless of how much we appraise ourselves, we are not without shortcomings. How we work on it or help others to grow will go a long way in ensuring a lasting relationship/marriage.

So, here the question; guys how do you deal with a nagging girlfriend/wife?

While I'm keen to hear a thing or two from you, I'll love to share my story.

I dated a guy. Hmmmm, he has got almost everything you can ever look out for in a guy. Very intelligent and smart, one thing I so much look out for in my guy.
Amidst all this outstanding qualities, this guy nags at everything thing I do. So how was I able to cope with him?

With the love I had for him, I couldn't help but to take my time and study him. He is temperamental, no doubt. So by studying him, I was able to create a balance between him that I truly love and him that is temperamental. Anytime he nags, All I had to do was keep quiet, never interrupt him. Allow him to get done with whatever he is saying before I say anything. And if I must talk, no matter how much he snapped at me, I'll just say... " No one is infallible. I accept to date you because of your outstanding qualities and I have no regrets whatsoever"

My dad married my sweet mother- a cool and calm woman for himself. And today, they're living in matrimonial bliss.

So my prayer is: "Any woman that will come into my life and nag and nag and nag! Oh, may 'APC's wind of change' change her from my direction by fire by force!"

Hell no, can't cope with a nagging partner . You can't change people and you definitely can't keep pretending you're okay with what they do all your life. You'll get pushed to the wall someday, and it will all come crashing down.

Yes we can't change people but are you aware of the fact that no one is perfect? Do you know that we all have our shortcomings?? By you harbouring the notion "you can't change people" only prove that you are an island.

Nowadays I don't even know which one is better.. Whether living single or being in a relationship...

Excessive Nagging wether done by male or female is not good for the relationship, I must confess that certain lifestyle or behavior may increase the risk of nagging... On my own part... I will prefer less nagging but if she more than makes up for that shortcomings of hers in other areas I find very important , just maybe I may tolerate her and continue with the relationship. If it's marriage, well I honestly don't even have a choice than to work it out or tolerate her... Truth is that, we are all imperfect, it only depends on the level of imperfections from our partners/spouses that we are willing to tolerate.
