blame fergie. he raised united to a standard that it would practically be impossible for another manager to come and maintain. no matter the rants here, I believe Jose is going to stay longer than his current contract. anybody comparing Jose's first year to lvg forgets that the pedigree of managers then and now r not the same. with the exception of mou, all other top team managers then were old school. main reason he was able to make the top 4 easily. now, top team managers have an array of a younger generation of coaches in their prime. believing that Jose will continually excel above all of them is just mere fantasy.

The truth is mou is doing a good job so far. Saf made mistakes too. He failed to replace old players with quality ones and worse of all chose an average coach as his successor, a coach that can't even attract quality players.
