jesufifunmi:Oga!!! I think about a lot of possibilities in life and I don't limit the power of my brain and mind to think widely. More so, there is no harm in thinking differently as long as it's NOT a crime. I thought about it, shared it, asked about it and got full information that I needed. That's the way I live my life, always thinking about possibilities! |

Hello Great people Myself and wife have been reading previous posts becuase we plan to go to the US late august for vacation with hemmingsway safari resort, and then i would return after 2 weeks but she would stay back to have our first baby (just got married in december 2016). Our interview date is June 1st, 2017 , we are yet to submit our online form, as our travel agent are assisting us with visa preparations. but they advised we apply as tourists, since we have a ticket for 2weeks holiday stay in orlando and then my wife can stay back at US to have our child. Am a little bit skeptical because my wife has a virgin passport, currently awaiting to do her housejob (medical career) and currently a sit at home housewife. I have travlled to european countries and have enough fund to sponsor our vacation and child birth in the US. We already paid for our Vacation visa fee B1/B2. We intend to stay in atlanta, because we have a family friend there for child birth. [b][b]How do we approach this visa interview? my wife would be 18weeks when we go to the embassy. our travel agency advice that i make an id card, that she works for my private company as a doctor, to show local ties. BUT i JUST WANT TO TELL them as it is...since i have the funds and my wife would definitely return to do her housejob to complete her medical career. we are planning to travel together. Also need an advice for an affordable hospital in atlanta or maryland. (i have the cost already for northside hospital, need other options). I would have prefered Houston but no accomodation. Our proposed POE is Orlando. we intend to submit our application form by wed 24th may latest Looking forward to an expert advice. Thanks |

josh050588:Avoid that section in red by all means, go with your plan to say things as truthful as you can. Giving birth in US is not a crime as long as you can afford it. |

josh050588:*sigh* Why are travel agents so full of lies like this...??? @josh050558 If you manufacture a job for your wife and she is now asked to show her payslips or statement of account with salary inputs... How do you do that..?? More lies...?? Getting caught in a lie by the consular officer could seriously jeopardize your chances in future interviews. From other's posts you would see that a lot of people have been granted visas for childbirth even though they had no previous travel experience and they said the truth. I would advise you to go with your gut instinct and SAY IT AS IT IS!! I would have preferred if your wife went for the interview by herself so that she could use you as her tie back home but since you've scheduled it together, let's hope your travel history covers 4 her. Couples like yours have been known to be successful together too. Also, try and make sure you fill your forms yourself b4 those ur agents fill rubbish on your behalf |

michnib:Birth centers have been discussed repeatedly on this forum. The general consensus is to keep away from them regardless of the cost savings. For more info, just search for 'birth center' in the search bar on the top of this page and then limit the search to the travel section. |

Don't let the so called travel agent mislead you..you already have everything that qualifies you for a visa..all they want is honesty..I was a first timer too, virgin passport and work free too..I told them I wasnt doin anything at the moment..my Hubby's travel history helped boost our chances...be honest,confident.. Best wishes josh050588: |

If your wife is staying back for childbirth, her form should be B2 (medical) not tourism while you can indicate tourism on your form. josh050588: |
