never mind my grammer. am a girl of 25, rip for marriage, my priority has been education. I met some people that promise me education but on conditions that they preform some marriage rites then I can go to school. the truth is I don't have feelings for them..... now I have the opportunity of going to school again and happy for that...also, marriage is on my mind with a man i developed love for. I have some fears, am confuse please help what do you think I should do...mature minds please 1 Like |

Go to school ooo.take one thing at a time. It's good u didn't allow those guys trick u into marriage.now that u re chance of going to school pls oo do go to school. U can get married in ur 300l or final year.noo drop out oo 3 Likes |

What are your fears?  Now that you have the opportunity to go to school without any conditions attached, I suggest you face your education squarely. I'm not saying it's not possible to be married and still be going to school, but you need to focus, 'cuz with marriage you'll get easily distracted. Choose one and put in all your energy to achieve the best in it. But if you feel you can combine the two, then go right ahead, the choice is yours. ©YBR 1 Like |

I'm assuming they're guys with big bellies anyway don't marry a guy that you don't have feelings for cause he's doing something for you and don't throw your opportunity of going to school because a man has promised you marriage. Go to school get your diploma or degree then no man will try and control you or use you. It's your choice afterall but be wise. 2 Likes |

Please clarify this for me. Are you saying in order to be able to go to school these "marriage rites" you speak off have to take place. Which I take to mean someone has promised to send you to school if you marry them? If this is the case. It is possible you could be sent to school and this person will honour their word. On the other hand marriage will come with expectations.You cannot chase two hares. Marrying someone for the reasons you stated leaves that marriage vulnerable. |

cruchenuti: I just know I read read stories like this on the Internet all the time. Young girls being promised stuff from these guys in the exchange of intimacy. And it happens that they're either older and they don't look that great physically |
