ISpiksDaTroof:Declare the war already and get ready to fight in it, and context clue mo.ron...unclassified in my definition means- privy to public knowledge, I have served in the U.S. army for 3 years now and I'm in a far better position to use context clues as I deem fit, we just don't disclose info in very precise terms. Once again the exposure of lots of Igbos here in the U.S. army has more than made me realize we are not to be fu.ckked with, lots of comrades I have spoken with during my tours are very passionate about Biafra, when you talk about war, better know there are people out here who are paying attention, its not easy to smuggle weapons and lobby for international channels to bring home men who are ready and willing to die for their tribe. |

Billyonaire: Guy, your entire post is based on assumptions and illusions. And assumptions are the mother of all fvckups. You said: "Biafrans resident in Nigeria and Nigerians residents in Biafra will be offered provisional citizenships with first right of refusal." By who? Who would offer them such an option? Did Nigeria promise this option categorically to your people, or is this just a flight of fancy or a figment of your imagination? Then you said: "Sane countries know the value of human resources. If Biafrans are to withdraw 100% from Nigeria. There will be chaos." What makes you think that the Biafrans are the only ones competent enough to hold down the jobs, they are currently doing within Nigeria? There are smart, well qualified Nigerians in many parts of the country. Yes, there might be some issues initially, but for every vacancy on ground today, there are usually more than 5 applicants. So this aspect would be straightened out. As for ECOWAS, no member state of the association can force Nigeria to dance to its' tune. Nigeria still pays the piper in that regional body, so it will continue dictating the tune. 19 Likes |

Very shallow thinking. First of all, how will you identify an igbo person to deport? How can you differentiate between a Nigerian Igbo and a Biafran Igbo? What of hundreds of thousands of Nigerians married to Igbos, will the government break up their marriages in order to deport the igbo spouse? What of their kids, will they Igbos or Nigerians? Answer these questions if you think you're smart. 2 Likes |

Billyonaire: Guy, your comments are still fueled by assumptions. Every single one of them. You actually think oil companies will relocate their offices to Biafra? What is the proportion of oil fields within your proposed Biafra republic, which are operated by these oil companies? Are they greater than those ones which exist in non-Igbo areas, within the Niger-Delta? Please wake up and smell the coffee. You think if Biafra is declared today, they would automatically start generating 24-hour electricity? I laugh in French! "Financial watchdogs will not blacklist Biafra......" because of what? What level of gold would be used to back up your currency? Don't you realise that there are many indices that financial watchdogs look out for, before a country is given a clean bill of health? On what premise are you basing these your far-fetched assumptions, biko? You know what? Let me leave you to your delusions..... 17 Likes |

kingzizzy: East Timor is not Nigeria or Indonesia and it's even ridiculous to compare your own situation and environment with others several thousands miles away from you. The problem with you people is always lack of critical thinking, you formulate your thoughts based on sentiments and emotions instead of well though out reasoning and strategies. Ojukwu took millions of your people to war without weapons and clear cut ideas and strategies and millions perished because of that foolish and irresponsible act. Another clown is asking you to risk everything and your and your people are not asking critical and crucial questions, you are not asking him for the necessary ground work and planning necessary to sustain a Nation. Have you asked him what he's going to do or how to resettle millions of your returnees? Have you asked him anything about customs, borders, military, law enforcement, judicial system, education and health policies, governing body and elections, tax and IGR policies and the constitution needed to govern you from day one or he's just going to make that up from thin air? Do you people really think beating chest and abusing people on the internet and home video is all you need to run a country. You are heading for another self destruction. I don't even know why you people are hard learners. 24 Likes 2 Shares |

plaetton: Jesus Christ, are you guys this deluded?! Nobody needs to recognize jack sh&t when you decide to break away or your Independence is disputed by a bigger more powerful country. It is not "automatic". Have you ever heard of Taiwan? What of Palestine? How about Israel? In fact, if Nigeria decides to play the ultimate bully, they will put pressure on other West African countries (or even other countries, period) not to recognize your legitimacy and anyone who flouts that order/request gets cut off diplomatically. Nigeria is that influential if you must know. Just incase you guys don't realize it, you're attempting to go head to head with the most powerful and most influential Black Nation on the planet today. 22 Likes 2 Shares |

Kondomatic:First let me say I am not against Biafra. I hate the injustice in this country. Ehen. As per your first paragraph, we really should be concerned with what would happen if you guys go and you too should worry if you mean well for your people. Self reflection is a cultural trait of the Igbos. We are worried about the potential humanitarian crises with spill over effect in Nigeria. The population of Nigeria in 1967 was 55.6million (as per the census conducted in 1963). You will agree with me that the population has grown exponentially and we are now 180million. Igbos have grown in number too. So if and when Biafra is granted how do you propose to accommodate this huge traffic and influx of people moving into the newly birthed Republic without a humanitarian crisis that would affect the zoo and Biafra? And that's one cause for concern. I wish you guys all the best. Cheers 6 Likes |

laudate: Your write up is based on sentiments, and I am going to be very careful so you do not drag me into ethnicity and tribalism. I am only trying to educate Rossikki the OP, because I assumed he asked a sincere questions seeking to be educated on how countries are borned and formed. That being said; Please pay absolute attention to what I am going to state here, I am not interested in arguments and emotional tantrums. I am sovereign Human Being and I am a Biafran Nigerian. Point 1: Every country in this planet has once existed as a colony of another and seceded either peacefully or via war. Point 2: After the Secession, there is always a Treaty and United Nations armson boundaries will step in and help in transitioning of the new country to a sovereign state. Point 3: Citizens of both countries, resident in the former territories are given first right of refusal of citizenship (This is in the UN handbook). Point 4: The Currencies held by Biafrans and Nigerians in diverse local banks will be converted to a neutral currency and transmitted in value to the currency of the new country based on the discussions of the central banks of the two countries dn supervised by World Bank. Point 5: Corporate Entities owned by Individuals/Cooperations resident in either of the countries under the office of Foreign Assets control are to obey the existing international tax laws extant in the country already. For example, Biafran owned businesses will adopt the tax codes of citizens of Ghana or Benin Republic doing business in Nigeria and Nigerians in Biafra will also permit adopt same tax codes based on income bracket. There are more points but I will like to state as follows; Biafrans are very industrious people and the Biafra territory control the Oil/Gas reserves. Akwa Ibom is the highest oil producer and Rivers State is the highest Gas producer and both States played major role in the Biafra war with Phillip Effiong being the Deputy of Ojukwu. So you can see that my assertions are based on facts. Major real estates players in Lekki Peninsular, the hotbed of Lagos is controlled by the Biafrans, ask anyone and you will confirm this. I KNOW THIS FACT more than anyone on this forum and I can educate you all on who and who controls which aspect of this town, I live here and own major assets here. Do not take this Biafra issue personal. There was Bight of Biafra even before the Southern and Northern Protectorates were amalgamated in 1914, this is a fact. So it is not out of place for a people to say, they are no longer interested in the marriage of convenience since it is no more convenient. Let us just say, Nigeria has failed to produce even drinking water, even electricity, even roads. Everything in this country is not working. We live in gated Estates, Gated Communities, Gated Compounds, with suicides, terrorism, kidnaps and all sort of poverty-induced problems here and there. I will offer Nigerians who are ready to move to Biafra free accommodation in my Biafran home for 2 yrs out of pity for what we went through in this hell hole, pending when such a person is ready to make a decision to settle in Biafra. I understand that many of you did not expect the Biafran agitation to gain this traction. Even our sick President didnt know this when he incarcerated Nnamdi Kanu. Times have changed, so have we. 7 Likes |

laudate: No sir, I use facts, not assumptions: Akwa Ibom is the highest Oil Producing State and Phillip Effiong, the Deputy of Ojukwu is from Akwa Ibom State ( May His Soul RIP, a great man) Rivers State is the highest producer of LNG, and Rivers State is a pivotal state in Biafra, read about Igweocha. I am sure you know the meaning of Igwe then add Ocha...(Lol). Komoko, Chokocho, Opiro etc and the Etche environs speak Igbo and these are the territories oil oil oil even untapped. Yes, if Biafra is declared today, we will have 24hrs electricity. The reason is factual and simple. Rivers State and Akwa Ibom have Independent Power plants that are currently transmitting power to the national grid. I do not want to mention other locations since our arguments are based on these two states. Enugu is called Coal City, I am sure you know what that means. We can power Biafra 24hrs, Yes. I can assure you of this. If you want us to discuss about the Economic Module that I am presently designing for African Countries. Although I am personally pushing for Regionalism and have already convinced a few Biafrans, for the love of our smart SW brothers, I will not hesitate to change my mind and go all out for Biafra if the SW brothers are not ready to move away from the barbaric Islamists that domesticate women and enslave children. We all have to wake up and stop hating those who want a better life than the status quo. I am a very comfortable Nigerian, but I am not selfish, I want all others to live in a country that government provides social safety net, medicare, pension system that works etc. And since Nigeria has failed to do this, I consider those who support the status as being MAD. And I know you are not one of them. 4 Likes 1 Share |
