Hey, I'm good. Thank you. Yeah been looking at WSU.... What other schools do you have in mind. The only thing dissuaded me from UNE now is the prospect of student jobs.
Howoheye:

Hi dear, what's good? I think different schools have different names for it. What matters is that it is Graduate Entry & can lead to Ur being registered with the professional body after completion.
U may wanna checkout WSU, it's one of the three schools I've shortlisted.
Cheers!

Hello dear Sis. It's been a while, hope you're good.
Hey I'm good thanks, hope you're doing well too. Are you in Sydney or coming to Sydney/WSU?

@All
I just upgraded my car and I need to sell my old car. It's a very reliable first car and it drives very well. I have driven it since last August with no issues at all, and it's well serviced. The price is very affordable with long Rego, PM me if you're in Sydney or coming to Sydney soon and you need a car. Sydney residents only. Thanks

Hello house, please i am not a student but i will be in Sydney for abt 2 weeks in October for a conference and i will really like suggestion on hotel, transportation etc. Do you advise i stay in a hotel in CBD Sydney (closer to the conference venue) or u suggest outskirts/suburbs that i can stay that are cheaper and i wont incur cost on transportation.
Plsssssssssssssssssssssssssssssss
Generally, hotels anywhere in Sydney are very pricey. But hotels in Sydney CBD cost an arm...if you get what I mean. Transportation isn't that expensive and you could easily get trains to Sydney CBD and save money by staying in surburbs like Ryde, Parramatta, Granville, Banstown, Liverpool, Epping etc

Maybe people don't mention it cos their Bachelor of Nursing isn't reputable or the location isn't suitable. For nursing degrees, the Uni you choose matters cos you don't want to struggle for placements during studies or jobs after graduation. I'll be doing the entire next semester of my practical unit in a reputable hospital, thanks to WSU. Cheap doesn't always mean good you know.

When people refuse to take sound advice, they end up in cities with no good jobs, doing mean and frustrating jobs with little pay. This makes them bitter because they are always tired and worn out, so they give others the impression that Australia isn't a good country for Intl students. And most times they have to search for obese ghetto white women/men as their only way out of frustration grin. Choose the right course and city and your life will be a bliss. Mine is a bliss, there's no city or country I would rather be right now #sydneyrocks cheesy

@JewelStone, please with your experience! What can you say about TAFE courses and it's visa success to Nigerians. I enrol to study a vital course there to enhance my future promotion here in Nigeria. I've lodge my visa application since 12th May and haven't heard nothing just yet. Thank u

Quick suggestion to any student flying to Sydney. Instead of buying a one way ticket from Lagos to Sydney, you can buy a Return ticket from Sydney for about the same amount or less in a posh airline like Emirates. When you do so, suspend the 'Sydney to Lagos' ticket and Use 'Lagos to Sydney' for your trip. The suspended ticket will be valid for one year and it cost nothing extra to get it.

Take a look at the picture attached and make your calculations.

This will work best for those who prefer a single-stop, as multiple-stop flights with longer duration will be cheaper.

NB: I am not affiliated with Emirates. This is applicable to Qatar, Etihad, Emirates.

Can any one please help, I tried to make payment to Deakin university through first bank, I filled payment instruction from through the Deakin site and I had this
beneficiary name: Western Union Business Solutions Beneficiary acc no: 8901309192
Beneficiary add: Level 12 1 Margaret Street Sydney, New South Wales, 2000 The Bank of New York Mellon

But bank is saying it's impossible to pay into western union business solution. please how do I go about this cos am really confused.

Thanks in anticipation.

I paid into deakin through same channel few days ago. The bank didnt tell me it was imposible. My only not cool part abt it is that they told me it might take a week before payment is made as form A is always bidded for nd on a rolling basis. A lot of people on this platform said it takes 2 days to mAke payment through first bank. Why is this different?

Victoria university is in Melbourne and is still a good place for jobs. Your assertion should be wrong.

how feasible is it to work during the semester and still maintain a high grade? or do you work only during breaks?
does the course offer internship/capstone at the end?
how would you compare the cost of living in sydney to melbourne?
is WSU AL1?
mehn....this sounds like an interview grin
