I was hopeless in my primary school and junior secondary school. Infact in my primary school I once ran out of the exam hall to go and play football with those that had finished because I couldn't understand what was written in front grin grin and in my secondary school I slept during exams because I was having headache trying to understand angry angry
But I got admission into uni same year into 3 different universities (federal, state and private), graduated as the best student in my faculty and department, done serving and big things are coming. The braniacs some still haven't got admission

I was among the dullard in our classroom back in the days. I always took the position of second to the last, and the reason why I didn't take the last position was because the grand undisputed dullard was a mental disturbed girl, I felt for her them.
Fast forward to this day (2 June 2017) I'm now the most overachiever and the envy of everyone, they all couldn't believe their eyes when ever they bumped into me during shopping.
This shows that the most intelligent and hard worker don't always become successful... Majority of them Eggheads /book heads and the over Sabi students during my secondary school days are now class room teachers and daycare workers with peanuts for salary, what a pity!
President Buhari, Dino Malaye and Donald Trump are few living proofs you don't need to be the most intelligent to be successful wink
But to be successful you need intelligence

you really want me to say they have made it? nope, they haven't.
the Average and intelligent are doing better in the higher institutions.

some ppu wil say nobody is dull, true but then we have some students in school that no matter what, how and when the teacher teaches, they will neva understand, it will just be like gibberish. Please school is not by force, if you ain't getting what's happening around, just quit and look for somtin else beta to do with your time and money.

If you are dull in education, look for other fields that you will be intelligent in. Shalom

Is God that bless, but the problem is that most of those brilliant student depends on their brilliancy to make them excel in life and God will now proof himself by bringing the least expected person to excel before them so that they will learn the lesson. The source of success is God .

In Primary, he wasn't actually dull because he was the most renowned barrow pusher in town graduated to okada, own okadas, married with kids and living comfortably in his own way.
In Secondary School (SS3 precisely), he couldn't even spell/write his name on answer booklets but he was one of the best footballers around, very skillfull, he went on to roam around some countries for trials and whatever (some became international fraudsters and drug pushers), came back played for some local and popular clubs. The last time I checked, he's working with a construction company, have his own ride and living to his comfort.
In the University he behave like one of those useless funny dudes, can badmouth anyone, even claimed he's the dullest in the class. But one day I told him he's in fact very intelligent, I admire the great stuffs he does with computers, he can fix almost anything, he wasn't strong academically because of his focus on computers and campus babes. Oboy, I never here from that dude for years but I believe he'll be doing just fine.
Some other between "dull" guys have become over mega... undecided cry
Meanwhile me wey be scholar that year done go nack MSc, still seeking for employment and contemplating PhD, living on the numerous grants I've received through the years tongue Chai. Most of the scholars in my graduating class aren't doing bad, we have representatives in the major countries of the world and some doing great stuffs locally, living fine and on the road to millions grin.

My guy let me tell you this, nobody is that dull. People tend to understand things differently.
Let me tell you a story. When I was part- time teaching in a secondary school, there was this girl all the teachers called olodo. Funny enough she is not! If you ask her 14 +3 she won't be able to answer but ask her 14 Naira plus 3 naira and she will give you an accurate answer.
I found out she sells market for her mother and knows all about giving the correct balance to customers. I had to use naira in everything to teach her mathematics. You know what? She came 3rd best in mathematics all through my stay there.
Most nigerian educators are not that patient and focused to learn about their students.
Or have you not heard about dyslexia too? Like somebody said, " Nobody dull at all "
yes, true, nobody dull at all. I said that before.

that girl should learn how to remove naira from every mathematics tho.

Life is life I'd always say. Let me paint two pictures
The education system is flawed so we can't call anyone a dullard since the system is confined to only academics which is one part of several means to ends.
You reap whatever you sow.

because you think you are successful then you can buy all your classmate. You sound like an illitrate, this is why the essense of a proper education cannot be overemphasized.
