Lately, I have not been posting frequently this is as a result of my wok as an IFA Priest.

Today I will be teaching you the fundamentals of Powerful Ebos (Sacrifices) in African Tradition Religion using the Ebos (Sacrifices) that were performed at the back of my shrine at Ogheghe Phase 1, Edo State, Nigeria.

PURPOSE OF EBOS (SACRIFICES)

(1) Long life

(2) Prosperity

(3) Protection

(4) Wealth

(5) Riches

(6) Success

=> Healing

EBOS (SACRIFICES) BENEFACTORS

Ogun Priest and his family

EBOS (SACRIFICES) TEACHING

These elaborate Ebos (Sacrifices) were prepared by me "Babalawo Orisa", Babalawo Edos, Babalawo Igie for an Ogun Priest and my Omo Awo was present to learn the fundamentals of Ebos (Sacrifices).

We used animals head to touch our head, chests, private parts and buttocks with special prayers.

Then, the head of each animals (goat, hen, tortoise) where cut off, the blood of these animals where poured on the divinities, charms, spiritual bathing water to empower them and these ebos (sacrifices) where offered as a sacrifice to Orunmila, Ogun, Esu and Mother Earth.

The body of these animals where cooked and where used to prepared a delicious egusi soup with pounded yam which we ate glady and prayed for the Ebo Benefactors "Ogun Priest And Family".

EBOS (SACRIFICES) DIVINATION

Several Odus appeared during the Ebos (Sacrifices) and the Odus that came out where Ejiogbe, Oyeku, Ogunda Meji, Okonron and Ika.

I divine Ogunda Meji for the Ogun Priest, Babalawo Igie divine Ejiogbe, Oyeku and Okonron for the Ogun Priest and Babalawo Edos divine Ika for the Ogun Priest and we also divine for ourselves and for non-initiates present during these elaborate elaborate Ebos (Sacrifices) using four mouth kola, 16 cowries and okpele.

ORISAS FOR THESE EBOS (SACRIFICES)

(1) Orunmila

(2) Ogun

(3) Esu

(4) Mother Earth

EBO LIST

1) One she goat

(2) One hen

(3) 16 Kola nuts

(4) 201 Palm nuts

(5) 210 Naira offering

(6) Two native pots

(7) Yams

=> Red palm oil

(9) Alligator peppers

(10) Dry gin

(11) Iyerosun

(12) Fresh medicinal leaves

(13) Cowries

(14) Bucket

(15) Water

FINAL NOTE

If you want long life, prosperity, wealth, riches, fortunes, success, favour and protection without any bad side effect? Then you should serve Ogun, Orunmila, Esu and Mother Earth.

Tnx. Am an igbo Christian woman but this are almost the same thing one sees in the village shrine. Are they (igbo and yoruba gods) same gods?.
Also, I want to know from ur perspective, why ppl think traditional worship is evil.

Nice, i believe seun should dedicate a special day for traditional stuffs like this on nairaland.

The muslim have friday, the christains have sunday, maybe the traditionalist should have a wednesday for their stuff.

I wish the likes of pagan9ja were still around to promote tradition.

I can see that you are among of those that likes it. Have you ever seen a person that has a big store that can pose with this kind of sacrifices in front of his or her store? But people always calls for Alfas and Pastors to blessed their shops or stores for them in public during the sales hours. But you can never see a Babalawo in someone shop or store performing sacrifices during the sales hours unless in the midnight or early in the morning before other people will come. So what's the meaning of the sacrifice that its unable to be done in the public during the day time. You better Repent before its too late! huh

All of you shouting Jehovah will still go behind and seek spiritual help from the traditionalists.

Majority of you are suffering from misplaced identity. A white man imposed his religion and called our own inferior. We took the foreign religion and started behaving as if we are the best thing that ever happened after bread and butter.

For the records, African Traditional Religion believe in the Supreme Being call, Olodumare, Akoda, Aseda, Chukwu, Osanobua etc. There is also belief in divinities just like the Christians believe in the saints. Then belief in ancestors which is synonymous with the belief in Prophets. Believe in magic just as both Christian and Muslim belief in miracle.

So why are we deceiving ourselves and living in self denial.

There is no direct worship of God in African Traditional Religion because God is too sacred to be approached by mere mortals hence the worship of God through the divinities just as the book of James says: pray for one another because the prayer of a righteous man answers more.

May Olodumare give us wisdom to appreciate our own and stop running around foreign things.

If you need a black soap, why can't you go for Dudu Osun Black Soap. You will get it at the nearest cosmetics store to your house less than N200 per each.

Don't get me wrong, actually I have never participated in any traditional ritual. But since we re in a free religious worship society , it won't be nice if u appear rude.
Anyway, am here to learn.
