But to further state that South South has nothing in common with Igbos is preposterous!
Many South South groups in the Niger Delta are off shoots of Igbos that intermarried and mingled with other Delta groups for thousands of years. Some of them practice Igbo culture and speak Igbo as a first language,others speak igbo as a lingua franca, while Igbos in some fringe communities speak some non Igbo languages.
Historically, Igbos have had alliances and cultural exchange with Efiks, Ibibios, Annang, Ijaws and Benin groups.
So who are you deceiving? Historically and genetically, Niger groups and igbos share similar ancestors. Niger delta is just a geo-political area,it is not a unique 'family' group in Nigeria.
It is ok if you don't want Biafra but don't distort history!

History can testify that Igbo people have never for once fought with Yorubas or attacked Yorubas anywhere, but always inter-marry with Yorubas and live peacefully with Yorubas but Yorubas just hate Igbos for no reason whatsoever.

Igbos till tomorrow prefer to live with Yorubas than with violent Hausa/Fulani.
