do a transaction of less than 20k.. You can as well recharge your line with any amount. Then it will activate. You will be sent an OTP in your message inbox to authorize the transaction. Copy it and paste in the otp box and fill all the necessary info. Click pay.

When you have recharged your line please inform me.. I will need your account number to activate it on the platform.

Quick tip...

Some of us may ask, how much is first bank charging for transfer?

For your information, CBN has implemented that charges on transfers are pegged at 52NGN against the old 105naira charge for transfer transactions.. Did you know?
@Emboldened, it seems its only Access Bank that charges lower (50NGN) on transfers

Keep your questions coming... I am here to serve.

Now some of our first bank customers may have issues downloading the First Mobile App, for those using the Android OS, it might be due to the fact that your version is not up to date. The firstMobile app will work perfectly on android versions from 4.1 upwards.. Please check your version to know if its compatible. For those of us using ITEL phones with updated android OS, unfortunately, when downloading firstMobile app, you will observe that it says "not compatible with your device". Don't worry. Use Xender app to transfer the first Mobile app from another device onto your ITEL phone. Its easy.

Please keep your questions coming. I am here to serve you better

i have a first bank account, and i use 3 channels in carrying out my transactions (mobile, internet banking as well as the USSD).

However i have complained countless times on issues concerning refund. i try to recharge my phone via ussd. *894*×××# i get a a transaction fail response, i get a debit alert that never gets refund. It's so annoying.

Also statement of account via internet banking shows duplicate transactions.

Kindly work on this two issues and I'm good.

However i rank First bank mobile app as number 1, follow by diamond. GTB would have been 1st except for the flaws of having to save one time beneficiary before making a transfer

A lot of people keep asking me when they download the FirstMobile App, they can't transfer more than 20k , I always tell them that due to security, First bank Has made it so that the first two transactions has to be less than or equal to 20k before your daily transfer limit can be extended to 500k .

This is another security measure, a FIRST from First Bank...
Weh done Sir, no offence, but Access Bank daily transfer limits is #1,000,000(one million naira) and yet they have the best security.

first bank also have a daily transfer limit of 1million. Using the token.. We decided to limit it for those without token because of security such as at gun point. The damage to your account will be reduced . think!

I understand some of us have the mobile app but haven't used it all.. Why stressing yourself going to the bank everyday to transfer money? When you have something that can ease your day to day transactions? Some of us just like to stress ourselves unnecessarily and it's annoying Me. angry

dingbang I have just installed the app and used your referral code.
When your bank newly launched the app, I was told I needed to purchase token before I'll be able to use the app. I almost closed my account with your bank.
I'm glad the app can be used now, without paying for any token.

PS: Very apt marketing strategy you got, I pray you meet your target. I know you will. All the best

thanks so much Kingbish. First bank has evolved over the years.

As for the marketing strategy, I am starting to see marketing as fun. I was like, is it what people are running away from? The benefits just outweigh any other job sector cuz you get to improve on your selling skills and learn new selling strategies.
