Rohr's reaction is a good one.

Let's move on.

When the ball entered the net, was the ball within the reach of Akpeyi?

When Rantie nodded the ball did it stop still mid-air?

Those friendlies were not a good test. We should have continued with that team that drew Senegal. Togo was not a good test. Corsica is an illusory team that seldom have a come-together.

You no talk about Awaziem rating?

You for argue that one too na.

Carry Rookie go start for CB in a key game like this. Chai! Mtcheew. Sebi we don learn from a terrible experience.

When Omeruo had problems with the team, was he a rookie? That rookie talk is out dated. If Alampasu had the game of Akpeyi today, you will shout Rookie.

Onazi was the shield. His gaps caused most problems. Echiejile's gaps were also the big issue. I am only pointing at Ndidi because Onazi despite his experience can not shield the defence.

Another culprit was the experienced Akpeyi. The experienced guys failed the team. So I want Ndidi to take the responsibility of shielding the team.

Echiejille who just married had no business being selected. Rohr should continue until we are finished as a footballing nation.

I feel Onazi coming into the team caused an imbalance. His gaps were the problem. I do not get why he is so stubborn and caused the team so much problem.

I did not watch the Togo game but I wished I did. Deep down I believe the balance of Mikel Agu, Ndidi, Awaziem and Ekong would have worked better today. The gaps today we're atrocious.

I hope Nura Abdulahi is good because I am tired of Echiejile's calamitous plays.

It is Kayode that scored ten goals. Osimhen played better and with time I see him leading the line and us settling for a two striker formation with Iheanacho.

I hope Onyekuru works on his tracking back and defending. If he gets this right, then Iwobi will be under pressure.

I think you have an ability to see what nobody else can see that Osimhen was a star today according to you.

Yah. That is why I was one of the few who understood the impact of training in squad selections.

Ironical that the criticisms of such poor performances of some Players falls on Awaziem.

What are you saying? The point is simple. When the ball went in, it was close to Akpeyi. Akpeyi was too poor to save it. Simple.

Can someone tell Onazi that he is poor at through passes? He wasted so many scoring opportunities. So many. His game gets me annoyed when I reflect on it and this has gone on for years.

Good point. I just hope that the NFF doesn't react by messing with the current team. The result is bad but we can beat South Africa at their home too. If they can do it in Nigeria, we can do same in South Africa. Remember that this team was missing 4 very important players.

Anyway, let's hope that this is gonna be a wake up call for the players and the coaches. We can't afford any slip ups against Cameroun. Or else, it's bye bye to the World Cup.

O pari

With the team of rookies that we put out today hmmmm that's very optimistic.

We got out played, out passed and run over by a good SA team, they were not great that's worrying.

When you get beat by a couple of lucky goals there is hope. However, we could easily have lost this game 5-0 our attacks were mainly hopeful balls. We didn't have the inventiveness of the SA as a team we were hopeless.

Goal number two exposed the depth of our defensive naivety and lack of structure and team cohesion.

If we were to play Cameroon with this approach we will get slaughtered.

Apart from Awaziem, tell me another rookie in the team.

The team will bounce back strong.

The chances came from the team going all out attack. Not Kayode. That was the midfield trying to force a goal. Kayode was also left stranded upfront.

If you did not see Osimhen, then you are in no position to argue this.

I saw Osimhen running around lots of wind and fresh air but no cutting edge delivery, he was not special. Right now he has nothing to offer the SE.

He would not make Liverpool 's, Chelsea or Arsenal current U18 or U23.

You are now over hyping just as you did with KC but at least there was some justification with KC.

The second goal has to do with pushing everything to get an equalizer. It happens to even the best. We will bounce back strong with small tweaking. Apart from that we are a strong side.

As for outpassing, from the best of my knowledge, we had the lion share of the possession.

He will. Osimhen showed lots of strength for his age. Caused problems with his running. In that few moment, caused problem on the flanks. I think he even won a freekick in a dangerous spot.

Before saying he will not make the Chelsea U18, keep in mind Rohr handed him the nine shirt. That is very big and shows the manager's belief in the young man's talent.

Hence forth onazi should sit on the bench and not captain let etebo take his place and mikel or iwobi as amf, plus wat is happening to Simon Moses ?
our middle 3 should be
Ndidi or Onazi, not and.
Etebo or Ogu
Mikel or Iwobi

If mikel agu or Esiti keep up the good work they can throw
Onazi out of the team.
Iwobi needs to learn a lot to take over from mikel but I trust he will and Nwakali, Ifeanyi and Azubuike suppose dey do IT like osimhen once in a while to adapt to the team.

Yes. most times we focus on individual abilities. We should rather focus on who plays better together, not this versus that. You have a point.
I think the game was lost in the midfield not because we have poor midfielders, but because we lacked good combinations.

Moses Simon may be rated highly today. But that's how he always plays. Never helps the team. We need more team work at the front as well. We would have taken precautions. Starting Awaziem would require having a defensive midfielder who can also play defensively. Maybe Agu or Omeruo as DMs in front. That gives support to our CD. Yes Echiejile is not just it.
