not if she doesn't give them the chance to. If there is anyone persistently wooing a married woman, it is because she isn't sternly telling him off. Even the worst of playboys can detect a dangerous fruitless chase a mile away, but give them the tiniest reason to hope and they would go for it.

It's not the world's responsibility to respect your relationship (except marriage ; it's wrong to chase married people). It's up to the person being chased to say no and never look back, and up to the partner to never give them resons to say yes to another.
