Well, if IRCC wanted a letter of assurance for tuition, it would have been spelt out. Remember, she also showed SUFFICIENT AVAILABLE funds from her uncle meaning funds are available aside the NDDC scholarship.

So providing only the assurance letter from NDDC will mean there is actually no funds from uncle as claimed and that could affect the overall credibility of sponsor and ability to live up to the responsibility of sponsorship. I'll still suggest, @pureRuby find a way to atleast pay the first year tuition as instructed or have funds in canada atleast. The application is 85-90% sure at it stands now, anything to make it a 100% will be best. I just wish she can find funds to do this before the duration expiration.
I get it now, I just pray she sort it out asap cos I know she is almost at the finish line. May God take control

Hi Ellenora. You may have to use an agent but try Google flights or ITA Matrix to get an idea.

Itz two semesters in a year ....if you are given two yrs....it means for the first yr
Some schs break it down to paying acceptance fee den d rest follows
For eg u are to pay 15k for a yr .d svh requests u pay 10k for conditions basis
But full academic fees is the 15k u get?
Full academic fee is mainly for the first yr
Complete payment of fees for the first yr

Thanks I get it.

@wealth360, I studied the same course as you (industrial/production engineering), working presently in the power sector but want to apply for M.Eng mechanical engineering. Will this go well for a standard sop when applying for study permit. Note: Job description is both technical and commercial.

Also suggest schools with low tuition.

Thanks

Best regards. Others gurus can please throw more light.

Re: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 12 by willyboss: 4:34pm On Jul 07, 2017
@PureRuby, that God has been in all of this is not in doubt. Please DO NOT fall for the bait called "explanation". If actually your uncle has $30000 to support you, what stops him from paying your first year tuition fees? please just source for funds and meet CIC's condition. The entire ball is now in your court. Please act wisely.

i believe CIC knows the final decision of every application immediately they go through the application but will delay in informing you so that you don't travel too early or you don't re-apply within short period of time.

hello guys.

TGIF!!!!!

So lawyers that are preparing to go to Canada, or are already in Canada, kindly advise. my bro has a CGPA of 2.85 and wants to do an LLM in Canada. Some agents have told him that he can only do a PGD and not a masters. So am just wondering, what advantage does a masters programme have over a PGD? Does PGD have a shorter course duration hence a problem if one wants to secure a 3 years work permit? Is it more expensive? Also this law thing, he can not practice law over there until he is called to the Canadian Bar, so if he does a Masters or PGD, what next? I am not sure d guy is ready to go the long haul of preparing to be called to their Bar. He no like book reach that level. He really just wants to migrate.

My mum is currently in the UK and will come to Canada from there. Has anyone submitted his/her passport in another country other than the country you applied from? I called VFS Lagos and they said I can submit it anywhere in the world but VFS UK said I should get a letter from Accra immigration first before submitting. Any thoughts on this? Please, please, please. I know its not study visa.Help

If it's your first time flying or going to Canada, I will actually recommend an expensive reputable flight, business class if you have the money. You are creating a memory for the first time and this is important. The experience will forever be erched in your memory I promise. First time I flew to the United States, my first flight ever, was on Sabena Airlines. It was first class and the school I was going gave me full scholarship and paid for the flight for me. I couldn't afford, haha, not even economy class. When the curtain would wind down during the flight, and I looked at those in economy class been fed with crackers and juice, in first class, we had real food, juice and wine, you name it. Anytime we wanted. The chairs could recline 180 degrees for sleep. Even during connection, we had a special waiting area with full bar and food available--all free. No flight experience has compared ever since. It's one etched in my memory forever, cherished and will never be forgotten. It cost only $1200 U.S.--one way. The point is go economy and cheap if that is all you can afford. But please if you have extra money, make the experience count. It's not a few hours, the whole day is spent travelling. Enjoy and spoil yourself, you deserve it having worked hard and come thus far.

Abeg if you have the money send to me Abeg.
I need it. Thank you

Any comment on Royal Marco airline....what can we say about them please.? Good morning my people.

My brother travelled with them from the UK to Nigeria last month. Funny enough that was the first time I have heard of them. He said it was good. No complaints.

Thank you for your response in advance.
