When the interview told him that the SS may not be interested, guess what he said? He said that will be decided in a referendum! I ask the question now: when have we ever asked for a referendum to join Biafra? Just when exactly? Because I seem to have forgotten.

Even when the interviewer told him of Henshaw's statement on Biafra, like the proud man that he is, he boasted that he can control more crowd in Henshaw's village than Henshaw himself/herself (identity of Henshaw is contested). Is that the response that he should be giving?

He would have included edo state. i was at uyo, I asked some persons their views on biafra., their response surprised me. one said average person here prefer aboki to ibo. My take on this. Nigeria isn't perfect and Biafara too can't be perfect cause it would still be managed by people that ran down 'Nigeria' as they are the ones with the financial might to explore opportunities.


In all honesty I believe one way or the other we have all benefited from this dysfunctional society. Why should a child of a University lecturer have to score 200 to be admitted into a course another candidate with 270 wouldn't be admitted? How many Nigerians pay tax? How many traders sell genuine products? The late Dora tried to clean up NAFDAC and was nearly assassinated by people who import and sell fake drugs! 

In Nigeria I feel there is only two classes the rich and the poor. The poor man in Zamfara isn't any different from the poor man in Ebonyi. Both face the same challenges. The same way a Igbo rich man who's son scored 200 in jamb can get his child admitted into Medicine in Zaria.

 

Then again there is no clear cut line of discussion with regards to what IPOB wants. Restructuring, Biafara? 

Personally I do not see any of these as a solution to what we face.

 

PDP had a solution to Nigeria's complexity (zoning) 8 years North, 8 years South. When power comes to your region, you favour your people as much as you can in a democratically accepted manner.

 This formula was jettisoned due to greed and personal interest, which is something we must work on to succeed. If you cannot push personal interest aside, you would never progress.

 Take Jagaban as an example, if he has insisted that he would be Buhari's running mate do you think he would have won? Muslim/Muslim ticket? Certainly not! 

He made concessions. 

Jonathan's presidency favour us the south greatly! We were in charge of virtually all key parastatals works, health, finance, aviation, petroleum, DSS, Police among others. Nobody made Biafara noise then even when Igbos were killed up north after the 2011 elections, the cry for Biafara wasn't heard. That makes one question the outcry now.

Nigeria isn't perfect but I don't believe a regional government or Biafara would in anyway benefit the common man.

How can he meddle people of different ancestry into his Biafra.

Delta state has Itsekiri a people of Odudwa ancestry,Ijaw that has no ties or similarities to the Igbos,People of Akwa-ibom and Calabar( the Efik,Oron,Ibibio etc).


It just shows he is looking for a Biafra that would be dominated by Igbos.

If truly he is sincere why not include only Anioma,Agbor in Delta, Ikwerre, Opobo,Ndoni and the rest of the Igboid sub groups in Rivers. Those are the people with one ancestry with Igbos.

You've said it all. Igbos are like rats, once they get in, they never want to leave. They should claim their ancestral home and leave other tribes alone, rather than drag us into their mess. We(non-Igbos) might no be getting a fair deal from Nigeria but I'm sure it will be worse for us (non-Igbos)under Biafra.

When I see the amount of hate, insults, opposition and energy being put to oppose Biafra it gives me joy because nothing good comes easy! It tells me that KANU is doing something great and he is on the right path. If he wasn't then he would have been ignored.
