Fvcking bullshit! How would you say this? So if a guest comes to visit you, you offer him/her food and after eating, the guest has the effrontery to call you to clear the plates? Does the person sound like he has manners? And the guy didn't go as a guest, it was more of an introduction and he actually had the guts to tell his girlfriend to come and clear his dirty plates as the emperor that he is? He couldn't even pretend for one day to be raised properly and ask where the kitchen was, but he had to call in his future maid to take away his plates. That's the kind of man that'll expect a woman to worship the ground he walks on, the type of man that believes he is the master superior. I support what her parents did. They wouldn't want her to end up with a man that'll be so tyrannical. Elders are never wrong.

The guy should thank his stars that this came out before their marriage. Why should a visitor remove his own plate? whether it's a man,woman or even a small child self, as a host you should take complete care of your visitor!!

When a guest come to your house and is served food, I agree that you as the host is expected to clear their dirty dishes, but Since you've covered lots of books on etiquette, was it written that they are supposed to order you to clean up after them? I must have skipped that part.[/color]
