I am in this same stage. Please I do I go ahead with this visa interview application. Do I send required documents via email (and which email, please) or through postal address. And which is better.. applying for interview in Lagos or Abuja?

You guys are so damn lazy it's annoying. You want to be spoonfed every damn thing! How about you go to the German consulate website and find these things out for yourself?

The time you're waiting to get a response from someone here could have been used to search whatever you want on Google.

Before Nairaland, there was Google.

Hi, the next thing is to open a blocked account, you can use Finitiba bank in order to save time. When you've received your blocked account details, scan your admission letter, the blocked account opening slip or sponsorship letter (depending on the one you're using) to the embassy so as to be given a date for your visa interview.
All the best!

Please can you help me with the embassy email to send these documents to for interview.

Hello @hrmdesk,

@dobeespen is very correct. Please don't always depend on people on information....this inquiry is boldly written on the website of the German embassy.

Here's a quick link below
http://m.nigeria.diplo.de/Vertretung/nigeria/en/04-1_20Visa/Long_20term_20visa/Visa_20-_20Long_20term.html

Please take your time and read all requirements, it's less than 10mins to do so.

Thank you

Pls people I need your help Sincerly so I don't lose this golden opportunity.

I just go an admission to a school in Germany and was told to enrol for a German course before 15th of July this.

The only idea I have is that the German course means German language but where and how do I enrol for it and most importantly how will the school know I have enrolled for the German course before the 15th of July.
Re: General German Visa Enquiries Part 3 by sistaj: 4:02pm On Jul 09, 2017
Has anyone who applied at TU Berlin received his/her offer for winter session?? I applied since March via uni assist and they have confirmed receipt of application long time ago but no news on admission yet since then which I think is quite a long time.

Did Uni Assist tell you that your documents will be forwarded to your University?

I think you have to register for the Language course at the University..
But you are asking us here that what should we tell you??
Just do some research from the University, u will save yourself time by emailing the International Office of your University because they are in a better place to clarify you, rather than coming here.

Wait, so you applied for a course without knowing the language of instruction? How are we supposed to help you? You're the one who applied. Email the international office and direct your questions to them.

See how a graduate is talking. Given that Deutsch is the official language in Germany, you didn't boder to check the language requirement? You just applied?

Anyway, go speak grammar with VO for Lagos.

I just find out the language for instructions is English.

What difference does this make Sir??

Please, are we to write/type the motivational letter and then bring a copy to the embassy on the interview day or is it something we would write at the embassy?

legacy30:
For those of us that will soon be going for interview this is a little tip that a friend of nine who is already there gave me "NOTE: two things to bear in mind (1) your motivation letter is the most important part of ur documents apart from block account. It's the letter that the immigration officer who'll handle ur application here in Germany will use to judge whether to grant u visa or not. So don't joke with the letter.
(2) when filling ur application form must sure u understand the questions b4 giving answer to avoid red card. Esp questions 7 and 12 on the form.
Thanks"
Best of luck to all of us

For the bachelor's program they do require proof of English proficiency. Don't know about the masters program.

Plus I hope you're aware that they're planning to introduce tuition fees of €1500/semester.
Alright. My cousin is planning to make use of his 100/200 level university transcripts. Don't know if it will still suffice?Yes I know they have already introduced tuition fees of €1500/semester

A good samaritan posted this a page or two pages backward. I would suggest you type if you wanna take it along or better still write it there. It's your choice though, just a suggestion.

Send your school an email asking that they extend your enrolment deadline. When they send you the extension , then send that to the embassy. You'll be given a date afterwards.

Thank u ma

What reasonable dates in October do u think I should seek for in my letter for enrollment extension ?
