Gate does not actually represent security. Gates are mostly crowd control measures.

I know in my location.

Is it also true that all GTBANKS in all the branches in your location do not have gate?
Its a branding concept that indicate openess and acceptance to all!

If yes or no, what could be responsible.

I think they've studied human behaviors long enough to understand how people feel about confronting security personnel in a gated environment. It's a strategy that makes everyone feel welcomed and it bears no risk in case of car theft.

GTB uses plain cloth policemen .You can hardly see them.Atimes,they will be opposite the bank, beside the bank. Or somewhere monitoring activities going on.Their Policemen are "uniformless"

Ijebu Ode gate not against robbery but high rate of vandalization & stealing of properties, all note the gate is alway open in the day also remember the high rate of rubbery in that terrain is alarming.

Gate is never for security but to chase away goats. I have never seen any house that gate helped them in security. Even the famous owerri zenith bank robbery had gates.
One rich man's house with very high fence and electric wires on the fence was robbed. Guess how they did it? They put mattress on the fence and passed over it to the compound. Use technology to keep your house safe not traditional brick and mortal method
