What of the anti-Hausa/Yoruba music that is also in circulation in the East?

It is easy to play the victim when the truth is half-revealed.

That said, no one should have to live in fear in his own nation. The federal government has to seat up to its duty of engaging the hate propaganda permeating the Nigerian political stratosphere of the day.

Secession can be successfully accomplished without hate messages and threats to lives and properties.
There's actually no anti-hausa song circulating in the east. We're too busy chasing money

Yes it is very avoidable! How? Igbos should move back enmasse to the east. We are down playing the root cause of this problem: xenophobia. The big two dominant tribes (Hausa and Yoruba)are beginning to feel uncomfortable with harbouring igbos in their millions in towns and cities. Doubt me at your peril. The Igbos have continually shied away from fixing the outward migration issues that they have. Now other tribes have now realized that there is an underlying factor which pushes out the best of igbo minds out of the east once they attain maturity in search of greener pastures. Only the igbo tribe can fix this problem. The Federal Government would not fix it. I as an individual (and a Yoruba man at that) admit that I feel a certain unease with seeing so many igbos in yorubaland. It is a ticking time bomb which needs to be fixed by only the Igbos. What chases igbo men and women from the east?

Igbo's have also compounded the problem by being very rude visitors to various towns and cities. This is specifically characterized by Igbos' penchant for labeling any town where they have a sizeable population as a "no man's land" which riles up the indigenous population to no end. If nothing urgent or concrete is done to solve the igbo problem in Nigeria soon enough, we are on the verge of witnessing a genocide which would trump that of the Hutu and Tutsi genocide by far. Till then, the majority of sane Nigerians will stayed glued to Social media and enjoy the opportunity to witness unfortunate incidents leading up to an avoidable human disaster of gargantuan proportions.

In the end, those who knew nothing and care less about either Nigeria or Biafra that'll lose most. In the pursuit of our individual or collective ambition, we should try not to hurt others...

Personally, I would prefer Nigeria to start one. We are stronger together. However, it is very obvious that we cant exist as one. Even if this sky should fall, we would still fight among ourselves. Seeing this, its easy to deduce that Nigeria is a ticking time bomb. The earlier this division occurs, the better for us. Nigeria can divide without all this agitation and hate violence. We can divide peacefully so we can atleast sleep at night. But the powers that be wont allow it

So is this song more dangerous and more inciting than Nnamdi Kanu?

Northerners do not want to kill anybody, they just want you to vacate the north and go and inaugurate your beloved republic of Biafra, land of milk and honey. They are only helping you. Can't you see? The land of your dream Biafra in just 3 months? Please go for it !

I am glad you share my point of view in that regard. However, I assure you that the other points raised are valid, extant but latent. In the fruition of time, events will begin to take place lending credence to my assertions. The migration problem of the easterners have to be fixed. Maybe the Federal Government will have to invest in critical infrastructure to dissuade the youths of the east from leaving the region.
@the emboldened, truth is, nothing can be done. Igbos are naturally traders and of course, you know traders would only be tilted to areas where there are more demands, rather than on supply alone.

I said sometimes ago and I'd say it again; Igbos might not be able to survive on their own due to their nature. I'm stationed in the East and this subtle, but noticeable feature of having every Tom, Dick and Harry trade is plaguing almost every trader here and the market is gradually thining out in the East, hence, the willingness to move out of the region, and, or, to become a drug mule is easily obtainable here because the struggle is far from what is being preached on here daily. I have travelled all five states of the East and still do almost every month and the same thing plagues each state.

You wouldn't blame those who hop on the next available bus to Lagos, Oyo, Ogun or Kano, honestly. Survival is imperative and body and soul must be kept alive. Asking all Igbos scattered in all parts of the country to return home would mean that you'd be asking traders to sell to themselves, which would spell hunger.

For the bums who scream 'IPOB' daily you honestly need to see them clog every available newspaper stand and a part of the road every day and night.

And yes, I agree with you; it would happen but I pray it won't now. Kanu, at over 40, cannot brag of a roof over his head with his hard earned money. You shouldn't expect his followers to be any better, honestly.

I've come to the conclusion that the only civilised Nigerians are the ones that reside in the diaspora; especially in advanced countries and are engaged in meaningful careers and activities...their counterparts in Nigeria unfortunately are just frustrated, unintelligent, and retrogressive minded, maybe due to the messed up system out there.

The yorubas support it but the problem is the northern majority in parliament. We do hope the events of October 1st will make the northerners see reason to let the igbos go. I and so many millions of peace loving Nigerians sincerely do hope so.

Hopefully Nigerians will realise that this is not 60s, Ndigbo will not stand by and suffer another genocide in the hands of their fellow countrymen.

Abagworo suffers from personality disorder. He had an Ikwerre maternal upbringing, more often than not, his Igbo hating Ikwerre part overrides his senses.

Beremx seem to have realized her errors and had since backtracked in her Yorubaphilic ways.

This is why I liked eurobomber. He never supported ipob but would never fail to defend Igbo's when need be.
