Any rumour on C I leasing PLC interim dividend.

I hope this C&I rumour is not a trap and a strategy by some individuals to sell their holdings. A company that is barely managing to pay FYE dividends that pple are spreading rumour of interim div. I dont believe it sha but I stand to be corrected and proved wrong.

With the way Dangflour is soaking up offers at N5:40k, i wonder what will happen when the sellers dissappear.

Disclaimer: NOT A BUY RECOMMENDATION. Heavily loaded here and not selling soon.

Modified: My loss in FBNH has reduced to 800k with the increase of its SP to N6:22k. Hope it gets to N7 soon

DIAMOND Bank Plc has achieved asset base of N2 trillion in the first half, H1 of 2017, while its profitability rose by 2.8 per cent during the period. The bank disclosed this in its H1 2017 financial results released on the floor of the Nigerian Stock Exchange (NSE) in Lagos.

The bank stated that its profit before tax rose by 2.8 per cent to N10.8 billion during the period, while its total asset grew by 0.8 per cent year-on-year to N2.065 trillion, making the bank one of the top six biggest banks in the country. The increased profitability and asset growth was driven by 16.1 growth in gross earnings which rose N114.1 billion while interest income also increased by 31.5 per cent to N89.1 billion. The bank however recorded 6.9 per cent in loss to bad loans (impairment), attributing this to continuation of prudent provisioning It stated that: “Despite the fact that loans to customers shrunk by 1.8 per cent from N1.4 trillion to N1.3 trillion, reflecting the cautious optimism employed by the management to manage and stabilise risk assets as the economy waddles through and out of recession, the Bank’s retail customers grew exponentially with over 6 million Diamond Y’ello customers opening accounts in the last two years. Managing Director/Chief Executive, Diamond Bank Plc, Mr. Uzoma Dozie, said that that despite the economic headwind, the bank would remain resilient and sustain the positive growth throughout the two remaining business quarters. According to him, the Bank’s strong liquidity and capital adequacy ratios plus its digital infrastructure have strengthened and rightly positioned it to meet customer obligations and offer service deliveries that are beyond banking, adding that the improving macroeconomic conditions will help stimulate and sustain the growth trajectory of the Bank.

You have never lost man. You will not only recover your money,, just as I've recovered my over 300k from afriprud, you should wait patiently till you make the desired profit, especially when you have invested in a stock like First Bank. We all know this fundamental principles of stock trading, but here, we're always expressing unnecessary fear. Even the so called gurus in the house are not helping matters. I also have over 300k of First Bank, which I bought at #10, but frankly speaking, I've no reason to fear as I would make my profit over time. Stock trading ain't gambling brother!

That is right. I held FBNH for a long time earning dividend on my large holding. I ported last week with a marginal loss. Why? I see what I term a better opportunity in DF. What influence this decision is the Q2 of FBNH compared to DangF. I reason that DanF might have moved before FBNH get to my desired junction. I see better value in DangF than FBNH for now. Hope Iwill be right in the long run?? both will deliver but superiority come to play in my thought. More so I have more units of DangF now than my previous FBNH.

On Afriprud, it is an excellent stock, however it seem Expensive to buy now, look at the Chart. If the breakout is successful you drink champagne if not sell and make minimal profit. It has always be a range stock of between 2. .....to 3. ...... stock price over the years. So the profit has always been within the range. A nice breakout could be bam bam .

You will be surprised.
I like Dangote flour more than you even till tomorrow, and I am still number one promoter of the company.
Truly for now am not inside, but will still join them back for long term, probably by September/October as case may be.

Am just telling you what you will witness on these days, it's a stock for long term, at least 2 years term.

Remember that the chairman Aliko Dangote bought back 65.7% share and stake 10 billion naira to restructure and strength the company which we are witness now, when ever the company balance which will be soon, he might decide to take back his 10b and channel it into another investment.

While the Dangote flour company move on, and any profit that the company will make after will stay and count, then fat dividend will be declare, possibly next two year.

It's a good stock that need patience.
Remember that I said before, that it might still go down below #5 and move up again.

The main reason you don't have to borrow or take loans from a bank (except you have other means of repayment if things go wrong) to invest in the stock market else your debt will be piling up! Always cut your coat according to your cloth not your size!

While Fundamental Analysis answers the question why there is movement in the market, Technical Analysis answers the question when through the use of chart formations and S&R analysis.

There are no secrets to anticipating price movement, but there are signals that you can find and use. It is your abil- ity to interpret those signals effectively that will ultimately define the degree of success you experi- ence as a technician and trader. Too many investors are overly focused on charting in isolation and, as a consequence, they overlook the value of other sources of information, including aspects of funda- mental analysis and economic or market news. To the degree that other non-technical analysis is included in a comprehensive program, your ability to interpret data will improve. No one system is going to work in every case.

https://nairametrics.com/limited-upside-as-forte-oil-announces-equity-offer-to-hnis-and-qiis/

"What it means
Being an offer for subscription, it appears Forte Oil is looking at selling new equity instead of a rights issue as initially expected. The offer is also targeted at select investors rather than to the general public. A N20 billion offer suggest it could be looking to sell about 333k shares based on the current price of N60 per share. At this price, current shareholders who do not partake in this offer will get diluted by at least 20%."
