bros this your logic is that of a man who has smoked osogbo weed. if you have 6 months visa it means you can stay 6 months. if you have 2 months visa it means you can stay 2 months

You are wrong. This woman came into Nigeria on a Visitor's visa. That is standard 30days leave to remain. If you like obtain 10 years visitors visa at the Embassy in Europe or anywhere else, once you land MMA the immigration would stamp 30 days on your passport. You will be advised to go for an extension at the expiry of the 30 days.

This woman does not understand the process. However, the fine for overstaying is NOT $3,000. That is where the corruption comes in.
But as for overstaying, this woman Overstayed.

You are a shame to Nigerians. Cry out where, so she should abandon her trip so she can cry out to shameless corrupt immigration staff. You need a change of orientation, you need to change the way you think. No country can excel with people that think as you do.
subtlemee:

Why didn't she cry out there only to make videos later? Stop helping paint your country black..you are the one spewing rubbish if you are only concerned about wht people say about your country than making it better

she is lying.
is it her 1st time of entering Nigeria? she did not tell us.
where is her passport? if she had the time to post video online
why didnt she show us the wrong page that was stamped.
From her tongue, she cannot make a sentence without using a Nigerian slang.
She has been lost here for years and only trying to regularise her papers.
The immigration officers saw the loopholes and instead of arresting her decided to cut a
bad deal with her.
Now she has turned the table around.
What a shame.

There was no loophole, she must have been married to a Nigeria and had been frequenting Nigeria, hence the slangs.

I believe her, but she must have overlooked the stamp on her passport when she entered, agreed she was given two months visa, but was stamped to only stay for 30 days, so she overstayed...but immigration were trying to use that oversight to extort money from her.

This woman is saying the truth...our immigration is corrupt and useless. This should be looked into by the authorities.

They continue to embarrass the whole country at the gateway of our economy and it is unacceptable.

Anyone justifying what our immigration officers did needs to have their brain examined. z
The immigration officials are a reflection of how tue average Nigerian thinks. Are you surprised they are taking sides with the immigration people
And yet they keep wobdering why Nigeria is so fùcked up

To think you are a lady is mind blogging. If you have ever passed MMIA you won't spew this rubbish. Those guys have no mercy, they are so corrupt and would milk you dry even if it's your last card. We need to call them out, Nigeria is corrupt and it's so corrupt. That's a fact, trying to attack people that tell you the truth would take you know where. Accept your faults and try and make amends. But he'll no, no one is taking responsibility, corruption is now a way of life and we have people here defending miscreants in MMIA. Did you not here when the lady said she almost missed her flight and she was with her daughter? What crime did she commit? Even if she over stayed they have no right to delay her. Please madam change. Remember change begins with you and I. Cheers

Immigration? I almost died of anxiety when I renewed my passport around late march,I had to bribe further again to get my passport after the stipulated three weeks and spending four days even on a Saturday to get my passport that was made ready the very day I bribed the officer an additional amount.

A passport of government price 17k at most I ended up spending close to 40k for it with stress of standing on my feet for the most part of those four days.

I saw someone pay 50k to get her passport within two days else she will miss her flight plus she had to go on her knees to beg join again.

Me? I will renounce my citizenship in a heartbeat for the price of a better one.

Whether she is Oyinbo, Albino or Nja, nobody should be scammed by officials. No one!

The quick change of the fee makes it obvious that they are trying to exploit the woman.

This is no payback affair - the same thing happened to me as a dual national. I got a 6 months VISA oy for the idiots to stamp it as 1 month on my entry - I did not even check... Why, when I have already spent close £250 to come to my country because of passport shortages and poor service in London.
