Not to digress, but I believe moving soldiers to the south east was a wrong move by the president. It sure will have a ripple effect on the markets; and I doubt if Mr President even knows the meaning of NSE.

In normal circumstances, did you know that as it stand now, that Diamond bank is undervalued in price when compare with Dangote flour, UBA and Access.

Diamond bank at current price of #1.15 x 5.6 = #6.44

While Dangote flour is #6.44 which is 5.6 unit of Diamond bank

By their q2 earning
Diamond bank earn 40 kobo per a share, when compare with Dangote flour, 40 kobo x 5.6 = #2.24

While Dangote flour earn #1.16 per a share.

(#1.16 x 2 of Dangote flour = 2.32, i.e Diamond need to be double)

I think to close the gap, Diamond bank suppose to be selling at #2.30 (i.e #1.15 of their current price times 2), and still on that, it still undervalue because, we believe that Dangote flour on their current price is undervalued.

Bros for your analysis better to use Diluted EPS which is 34 and not basic EPS... ur analysis may be somehow skewed though except if we close our eyes to other factors like the Dangote brand , the companies are in different sectors , Diamond's dividend payout is poor, growth rate etc.... I would def pick Dangote flour over Diamond

This your theory is for a country with a stable economy and a right thinking president not the one that is orchestrating a civil war in south east and you want me to leave my hard earned money in NSE

Nice point, Nigeria is currently in a great danger, those at the helm of affairs are not helping issue, rather they are adding more fuel to the fire.

May the will of God be done, that's all my prayer, if I pulled out all my money from NSE, and war start, what will I use it for, if I leave all in the bank or in the hands of brokers what will it be doing there, what matters for me is life, even if the whole money goes, and there is still life, I believe that I will still make more again.

I know that NSE will crumble if anything go wrong as a result of failure to democratically handle the current uprising in the country, because both foreign investors and local investors will be bailing out from the market.

Sir, It's an open secret that Nnamdi Kanu has violated his bail conditions. The sensible thing to do is get a court order to revoke his bail, simple.
Gentlemen, let's all remember that we are in a democracy, and we should be careful about setting dangerous precedences. Why involve soldiers, when we have a commissioner of police in the state.
I am not pro Biafra, but I am seriously concerned about the approach this matter is being handled, this action may trigger some chain of events that will even be more bigger than the initial problem.
