It irk me to an untidy place.

This my own roommate ehnnn...The Hoc of my department called his dad that he doesn't come to class early since when he joined us in our hostel and he missed a test...He dad really got angry and scolded all of us that we should leave his son alone and we shouldn't do things with him anymore.. As the guy father is wealthy a bit..we depend on the guy on some things but not food, he doesn't feed us. His dad banned everyone from using his things..his bucket,plate,pot,stove everything and even his charging extension....The day his dad even came I was on the guys slippers and was charging my phone and laptop with his extension.. His dad told him to collect his slippers from my feet that moment and he unplugged our phones and took the guys extension to his house,he said the extension was too expensive for him to share...His dad monitors every aspect of his life, he knows the number of cloth, jeans and shoes he has, his dad ask for them anytime he comes.. And this guy is 19 years of age

After that day, his dad comes daily by 6:30am to wake this boy to go to school for lectures... Even when he had afternoon classes.. He dad still comes to wake him up and his dad saw all of us still sleeping,he said we are so unserious that we should go to School early to get things done even if we have evening class..Every weekend, they pack this guy's clothes home to wash..

Before when his dad comes,he gives me some pocket money but now he does not really answer my greetings

I remember living with that pig who for reasons I can't fathom, thought taking regular baths will make him melt. maybe someone somewhere told him he was made of salt. the room would stink like a pigsty anytime nepa takes light. what irked me most was his love for taking siestas on my bed with his BO flavoured sweat. I thought life had gotten better when he graduated only for the real bush pig to be my new roommate.

in comes isoko man(donk know how and why he got that name despite not being from there). he uses plates and pots and plans to wash them at the end of the semester, people claim the boxers he wore and entered my room for the first time was what he wore since his matriculation, and I can firmly say he wore it on his convocation. apparently the grime and slime had made it stick to his buttocks that changing it was practically impossible. he knew this fact and yet he was a partial nudist who on little provocation would strip down to that boxers. imagine when a brown coloured boxers has faded to gray cloured brown with sufficient signs of accumulated skid marks.

this boy loved to eat beans once it has rottened abit, b3cause he deliberately leaves it without warming for days before he resumes the cooking. he will store the drained beans water in his corner and even corpses in a cemetery could be awoken by such a stench which usually emanates after weeks. no matter what you say, how much you yell, he will tell you that maximum you can leave the room. nobody eelver kicks him out, many run for dear life. this is a man who never had a gf all while I knew him and thus had no motivation to change his behavior. he was a swine all through university.

if you watch him eat, you will throw up all you have eaten since Christmas and new year. a man who prepared stale okro soup and when the animal and marine life finished in the soup, added boiled eggs to the okro soup for his dinner.

nobody ever tried eating his food by error or my robbery. those who didn't heed this recent warning went home with severe cases of stomach virus. it's very possible he added his stool to help his beans ferment, because for the life of me, beans shouldn't smell that bad, even if it was prepared in hell fire

I had a similar room mate, this guy is was the defination of pig in human form. Coupled with his bad attitud and character.

actually i took one alfaninto ma hauz....and he turned it to a shrine


imagine entering ur room after the day's work,and you meet your roommate consulting an only God know thing for two or more people

The type of room mates I had were the ones who doesn't care if the room was dirty I took time to sweep the room whenever I see it dirty until I got tired and started sweeping only my corner of the room

Mine wasn't that disgusting but hey,she can so hide money...her dad sends her money every month and she makes sure she buys one or two wears before she thinks of food stuff.As a good girl that I am,I will be buying foodstuff any time I have money...she can eat for Africa.most slim people do.
Throughout our two years stay,she never for once washed the toilet and it was a selfcon fa...me I will just be washing cos I hate dirty toilets with passion.. Can't even pee there not to talk of bathing.
But I had my own wahala too,had plenty friends that I always come back with from lectures..we will cook plenty food and eat at once though will keep her own share,she was always provoking over that..wetin concern me?shey na her money or foodstuff? She was running her diploma then while I was in hundred level...she is still seeking admission while I am done awaiting result...this life.
I pray she changes whenever she secures admission o cos not all people can endure such....we even fought twice.

Just going through the thread and saw some comments about those roommates that would want to finish your stuffs, I thought I was the only one that find it awkward.

I was never the type that request from ppl, I manage myself, but I had this annoying roommates all thru my stay in School, they will not cook, some will eat out while carrying it in mind that Rosy has cooked in the hostel, and of course, I can't say no but it will be paining me but I couldn't voice my mind even when I am managing myself, they took advantage of my calmness. Or sometimes they would hang their legs up and be pressing their phones and waiting for me to cook.

I remembered one, I so disliked her, initially, she hid her true character. She is very lazy, she doesn't fetch water but will use urs, keeps dirty plates and takes urs if she wants to eat, Infact her atrocities were much. Then, she just wanted to get married by all means.. I wondered how she would cope with her lazyself. She was kinda slim n beautiful but I believe her Laziness made her to be somehow fat and looking like "mama mmadu "

The only thing she took care of was her undies and clothes.

He doesnt tidy up d room either
M always doin everytn ..washing of plates and co.
D only tin he knows how to do is cook

I squatted someone and she was so disgusting. everyone likes her cos she always looks good, but they hate her after knowing her. I fell for it too, and her dad begged me to squat her.
Her and her dad promised to send money for foodstuffs as she said she'll eat my food for the meantime. OK, I didn't see any money. aside that, she doesn't wash but she sweeps only. it's always a disaster whenever she's seeing her menses, she'll stain the other roommates bed. the worse was when she didn't wash for up to a month after seeing her menses, I was telling her to go wash and angrily packing out the clothes when I saw a used pad.. Mehn, I nearly passed out and I ran out.
I locked up on her, stopped her from eating my meals or being comfortable in my side if the room. she left soon after

In school I was a boss o....any disgusting attitude and you are out.....

Mine was a little different, I lived in the school hostel through out my stay in school ( 100-500L). I saw the best and worst. The neatest and cleanest.

I can manage people . Though a complete introvert.

Lol. Rosy, you just reminded me of mine. Changing rooms and having new roommates every academic session was not something I enjoyed so much but it was fun and annoying on some days.

There's no lady I can't live with now. The quarrelsome ones, I'm ready. The calm, I'm in. The noise makers, I'm game. The lazy, let's roll .

I had one who will use undies and throw them under her bunk bed and won't wash. She'd cook and the food will be too salty, if you tell her there's so much salt, she'll tell you she likes so much salt in her food. lol. I had the one who used my plates and pots and never washed them. I was always blessed with the ones that were like mother hen, very caring and protective too. Ah! now I remember the one who loved darkness! At the end of the day, we reached a compromise sha and now, I can walk around in a dark room confidently because of her and she too was able to live with natural light shining into our room.

The mix was needed. I never had a roommate who was exactly like me and I liked it so. I imagine having another me in a room , people won't know there are occupants in the room. Everyone should have a roommate at one time in their lives, it will reveal the hidden you.
